Rondleidingen: elke maandag, dinsdag, vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag Deze busreis vertrekt vanaf en keert terug naar het station van Kanazawa, waardoor u in één dag kunt genieten van de werelderfgoedlocaties van Shirakawa-go en de Gassho-zukuri-dorpen van Gokayama.Deze tour is veilig en comfortabel voor buitenlanders, omdat u wordt begeleid door Engels personeel.Aan boord van de bus zal de Gids wandelkaarten van elke toeristische attractie uitdelen.De Gids zal u vooraf informatie geven over bezienswaardigheden en souvenirs, zodat u optimaal van uw wandeling kunt genieten.De lunch bestaat uit een Japans menu met lokale gerechten uit Hida en tal van specialiteiten uit de bergen.Omdat je je geen zorgen hoeft te maken over maaltijden, kun je rustig aan doen en genieten van een ontspannen wandeling. Voorzorgsmaatregelen U dient zelf naar het uitkijkplatform van de kasteelruïne van Ogimachi te klimmen.Het is ongeveer 10 tot 15 minuten lopen, enkele reis.De betaalde pendelbus kost 300 yen voor een enkele reis (ter plaatse te betalen).

Je kunt een rondleiding krijgen door het Gassho Museum dat grenst aan het wegkantstation Shirakawago. Bekijk de Gassho-zukuri-structuur voordat je naar Shirakawa-go gaat. Ze verkopen ook veel souvenirs. Houd er rekening mee dat wij van 29 december t/m 1 januari gesloten zijn, u zult dus op een andere locatie moeten stoppen. *Vanaf april 2024 bedraagt de inlooptijd 15 minuten.
Gratis wandeling rond het werelderfgoed Shirakawa-go. Wandel in uw eigen tempo en geniet van het ontspannende landschap van het platteland. Een heerlijke lunch vol bergdelicatessen is inbegrepen. *De verblijfstijd is 2 uur en 50 minuten inclusief lunchtijd.
Het is een gratis wandeling in het Werelderfgoed Gokayama Ainokura Village. Geniet van de trage bergtijd in het dorp Gokayama Ainokura, waar het oorspronkelijke landschap van Japan donker blijft met een rustige sfeer in het dorp in Gassho-stijl.

We took the tour with my father who’s in his late 70s my teenagers and my sister and brother-in-law. My dad said this tour was his favorite part of the trip. It was great to travel to these world heritage sites. The drive out was beautiful and our tour guide shared lots of information about what we would be seeing. We had lots of time at each stop to explore. The lunch stop was great and everyone enjoyed the food.

We (family of four with two kids in their 20’s) truly enjoyed seeing these very special villages on our day trip from Kanazawa. The scenery was stunning - from the mountains to the wildflowers to the just-planted rice paddies. We appreciated the time to wander on our own in both villages and to visit one of the houses in Shirawaka-go that had a lot of information about the villagers’ lifestyle. The lunch was delicious, and we truly appreciated the company’s arranging for wonderful vegetarian meals for my husband and daughter.

I had a great time on this tour with Kuroda as the guide. He provided information on the bus in Japanese and English. He was both professional and funny! There was sufficient time to explore each own on our own. Lunch was excellent. Gokayama was a hidden gem that shouldn’t be missed!

The weather was sadly very wet for our visit but both villages and the surrounding countryside were beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the set meal was delicious. It was fascinating to learn about the history of the villages and how the houses were constructed.
