Great host, comfortable, air conditioned transport and amazing sites that are very much worth seeing. Highly recommend.
It was a fantastic trip from Phnom Penh to visit beautiful historical places. My guide, John, had an excellent knowledge of the reguin and explained all the details about the temples. It was not a very tiring trip. Great to take some fresh air and see beautiful landscapes.
Nice tour option if you want to explore something outside the city of Phnom Penh. Two interesting temples, one of them on a mountain. Thearak is not only a driver, his knowledge is incredible and the explanations were beyond complete. The two temples are not very visited but they are worth it if you have an extra day in the capital upon arrival. If you visit them after Siem Reap I guess they may seem less attractive.
A nice peaceful excursion after the bustle of Phnom Penh. Our guide Mr Sarath speaks English perfectly, he is educated, we learned a lot and his explanations were very interesting. He walked up the stairs with us to Phnom Chisor. Thank you Mr Sarath for a wonderful day and for your kindness.

Thearak is the driver cum tourguide who accompanied me in this 1 day tour to Bati and Phnom Chisor. Thearak has excellent English communication skills with a nice British accent and a wide knowledge ranging from history, geography to religion of many periods of Cambodia in general and the temples on the trip in particular. The trip take around 5-6 hrs, around 200 stairs up to great mountain temple Chisor which is quite relaxing for any one who is lookig for a pleasure outdoor 1 day activities near Phnom Penh. I rated 5 stars more the tour itinerary and for Thearak himself. I really enjoyed the day and much appreciated for all of Theark’s knowledge sharing, safety driving, and good accompanying.

We spent a very pleasant time in the temples of Ta Prohm of Tonle Bati and Phnom Chisor. Our guide Mr Therak Chay spoke extremely good English. He had a great knowledge of Cambodian history. He gave us a lot of information about the history of the temples and a complete historical context.
Great tour despite the rain! The driver is very safe, friendly and knowledgeable. The view from Phnom Chiso is well worth the climb up (which really wasn’t bad).
We booked a day trip to Phnom Chisor. Our guide was John Black, unique and experienced and very friendly guide. He told us about Cambodian history and interesting facts about the sites that we visited. He even climbed like 200 stairs to mt Chisor with us, that was really funny. You can see our before and after photos. John is a professional and expert and you can bond with him quite easily. Our review is 10/10. Thanks John for a great day.
Wonderful trip to leave city and see countryside, temples and culture. John, our guide, very knowledgeable, patient and has real passion for his country and history. Great exercise hiking to Chisor top done at leisurely pace. The intricate and ancient temple structures and inscriptions fully explained and awe inspiring. A less busy and more personal alternative to Angkor Wat.
