E-biketour: platteland van Istrië en Parenzana

Verlaat de gebaande paden en verken het prachtige platteland van Istrië op twee wielen. Onze e-bike tour neemt je mee door de middeleeuwse dorpjes, wijngaarden, olijfgaarden, weilanden en bossen van Istrië. De reis omvat een pauze in Groznjan, ook wel bekend als de stad van kunstenaars. Geniet van de oude stenen huizen en bogen terwijl je door de geplaveide straatjes slentert. Je fietst ook een deel van de Parenzana, een oude spoorbedding die nu alleen toegankelijk is voor fietsers en wandelaars. De tocht is ongeveer 50 km lang en bestaat uit een mix van verharde wegen met weinig verkeer en onverharde fietspaden.

At short notice we asked for 2 ebikes and shuttles to do a day riding some of the best of Parenzana Trail from Groznjan to Vizenada 39km. Ilija was quick to respond on a weekend and adjusted plans to provide for the best ride for us; keeping the logistics easy and carbon emmissions down. We were able to take our time and stop when it suited us, and let him know when we were getting near for pickup. In season this might not be possible with other demands and customers but our May trip was perfect.
We lucked out and it was only me and my husband on the tour so it was like our own private guide. Our guide Ozzie took us to many spots including an artists colony in the most picturesque setting with time for a lunch break. The ebikes worked perfectly. An awesome day!
We had an amazing experience on this ride. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and we had so much fun learning about Croatian history and culture from them! This was an incredible way to see and experience the hilltop cities. The e bikes made the ride enjoyable and low effort. The views we were able to appreciate were stunning. Thank you for this wonderful trip!
The whole tour was fantastic -- charming mountaintop villages and the old railroad grade trail through the forest was so beautiful! Zoran is a great guide, it was a perfect day.
Zolan was professional yet personable. The sites were extraordinary! The towns and ride was super. I am in shape but did find it to be a good challenge despite the e-bike assist. I love a challenge but that should be considered.
This was such a great way to spend the day sightseeing a different part of Istria and the whole family (including 16 and 12 year old teenagers) really enjoyed it. The ebikes were excellent and in great condition, our guide Zoran was great sharing lots of info en route and taking photos for us which he shared afterwards and the stop of lunch at Grozjnan was lovely. If you want to do something different to going to the beach, I’d highly recommend this tour.
Great bike ride with a great guide! First time trying an e-bike which was cool and a must for me in the heat and challenging terrain 😄
This was a truly unique expérience to see the back country of Istria. TJ was generous as a guide and full of ressources on the history of Croatia.
