Rijden op rustige backroads door wijngaarden en olijfgaarden, ver van het verkeer en toeristische routes. Onderweg stop je bij een panoramisch uitzichtpunt om het verhaal van Umbrië te ontdekken, geniet je van een lokale koffiepauze in een klein dorp en bezoek je een wijnmakerij die door een familie wordt beheerd voor een wijnproeverij in combinatie met een traditionele zelfgemaakte lunch. Ontmoet je Gids in het middeleeuwse gehucht Torre del Colle, net buiten Bevagna. Na een korte introductie en e-bike setup beginnen we onze rit naar het Umbrische platteland, waarbij we de drukte vanaf het begin achter ons laten.
Stop bij een panoramisch uitzichtpunt met uitzicht op de Umbrische vallei, in de buurt van de beroemde Carapace Winery. Hier zal uw Gids u kennis laten maken met de regio — zijn geschiedenis, cultuur en landschap — en u helpen begrijpen wat Umbrië zo uniek maakt. Dit is een ontspannen moment om het uitzicht te genieten, vragen te stellen en verbinding te maken met de plek voordat u de rit voortzet.
Stop in het kleine stadje Cannara, bekend om zijn lokale tradities en authentieke sfeer. Geniet van een koffiepauze in een lokale bar - een echt Italiaans ritueel - en neem de tijd om contact te maken, verhalen te delen en het dagelijks leven in Umbrië te ervaren. Hier wordt de tour persoonlijk, niet zomaar een ritje.
Rijd door rustige binnenwegen en fietspaden naar Bevagna, een van Umbrië’s meest charmante middeleeuwse stadjes. Na een korte kennismaking met de geschiedenis en cultuur gaan we net buiten de stadsmuren verder naar een klein familiebedrijf. Hier geniet u van een wijnproeverij in combinatie met een traditionele huisgemaakte Umbrische lunch, bereid met lokale ingrediënten en geserveerd in een ontspannen, gastvrije sfeer.
Na de lunch rijden we terug door het platteland naar Torre del Colle, genietend van het laatste uitzicht op de Umbrische vallei en de ervaring afsluitend.

We really enjoyed riding e bikes in Umbria. Daniele was wonderful- he was knowledgeable about area and fun to be around. We saw beautiful countryside and went to a very good local winery for samples and lunch. It was a wonderful way to spend a day. Highly recommend.
What a great tour! We admired breathtaking landscapes in excellent company. Special praise to Daniele, our guide: very prepared, nice and really experienced, he was able to transmit all the passion for the territory. Finally, lunch and tasting at Cantina La Fonte were wonderful, with wines that really surprised us. Highly recommended!
Hoping on an e-bike was one of the best experiences of Umbria. Having Daniele as our guide was terrific as he filled us in at every stop with history and geography information. The landscape of Bevagna was so picturesque and the best way to explore the region was by bicycle. Sipping wine and a delicious lunch at the vineyard was very special for a perfect day in the countryside.
A one of a kind, fun, and knowledgeable experience. This was easily our best day in Italy. Daniele is a kind soul - I would do this all over again!

Wonderful tour through the Italian countryside up to Montefalco for a late morning coffee and then onward to a beautiful winery/farmhouse for an amazing lunch and afternoon wine tasting. Our guide, Danielle, was amazing blending Italian hospitality with knowledge of the local history and culture. He showed great care and patience with those who were "first timers" on eBikes which made our experience even more enjoyable. Also really enjoyed the small group setting and getting to know people from around the world. Well done!

What an afternoon. Daniele led our group on an amazing e-bike ride largely on small roads and bike paths through the beautiful Umbrian countryside. His bikes are great. He loves the area and provided a wealth of information. The e-bikes made the climbs to hills overlooking a good part of Umbria simple. We ended with a stop at a family run winery/olive farm where the proprietor walked us through everything about the areas production as well as providing delicious snacks to accompany each taste of wine. On top of that the Umbrian late afternoon light was phenomenal and Daniele took amazing photos for us. We will have memories of a wonderful day forever! Thank you Greenways

Fabulous day riding through the beautiful countryside around Bevagna. Daniele was a wonderful guide giving a running commentary on places of significance, providing many laughs and caring for everyone in the group. The wine tasting and lunch were wonderful. We had a great day cycling around Bevagna and enjoying a very tasty lunch with even better wines at La Fonte Azienda. Daniele and Laura are relaxed knowledgeable and fun guides/owners. The cycling has uphill and downhill sections. Thanks to the e-bikes everybody can enjoy this tour while at the same time you can make it as strenuous as you want. If you like cycling, scenery, testing good wine and meeting very friendly people and this a trip you should take.
We had a fabulous day cycling in the Umbrian countryside with our amazing guide, Laura. Stunning scenery at every turn! We enjoyed stopping for a morning coffee and then an extended and delicious lunch at the wonderful La Fonte Winery (we ended up driving back there to buy a box of wine!). Cycling through Bevagna was a highlight....such a lovely town. The cycling is suitable for low-medium level cyclists as most of the cycling is on secondary roads and bike paths. There are some up hill sections but the e-bikes make it very achievable! You can work as hard or as little as you like!! Definitely recommend this tour to singles, couples and families with children who are confident cyclists. We'll be back to try another tour!!
