Welkom aan boord van de prachtige Karaka, een vijfsterren replica van het belangrijkste koopvaardijschip van Dubrovnik Republiek. Ga met ons mee op een 45 minuten durende cruise onder de sterren. Terwijl u ontspant op het dek, laat u de maan uw weg vooruit verlichten terwijl de stadslichten op de zee schijnen. Beschouw dit als de perfecte manier om je dag af te sluiten — laat de drukte van de stad achter je en vaar weg.

Nadat we vanuit de oude stadshaven zijn vertrokken, passeren we de stadsmuren. De stadsmuren van Dubrovnik die het oude stadscentrum omringen, werden gebouwd als verdedigingssysteem. Tegenwoordig zijn ze een van de meest populaire attracties in Dubrovnik, evenals het bekendste monument van Dubrovnik dat wordt beschermd door UNESCO. De stadsmuren van Dubrovnik worden beschouwd als een van de grootste en best bewaarde middeleeuwse vestingwerken.
We komen langs het fort Lovrjenac dat zich onderscheidt van de rest van de stadsmuren.
De Dubrovnikbrug, gebouwd in 2004, licht 's nachts op en verbindt twee delen van de stad. Onder de brug ligt de plek waar de rivier de Ombla samenkomt met de Adriatische Zee.
Vaar de haven binnen en geniet van de beste panoramische stadslichten in Dubrovnik.

The boat left much to be desired. The ride was beautiful but I expected the "captain" to tell us something and give us some indication or at least there was some music. We were a dozen people and we were an hour in absolute silence. The sunset was wonderful.

A surreal experience, felt like I was in a film. Really loved it. Just an FYI, that it take you to the new port but not back so may be worth planning a route home. Excellent value. We went on the 8.15 cruise in September so the sun had set which meant you didn’t see much of Dubrovnik but the lights of the city were very pretty. The experience is more about being on the boat itself. If you want to see more than just pretty lights and a fantastic boat, I would recommend the earlier trip. Drinks on board are quite expensive but it is a short trip.
