De Dragonback Trek is de afgelopen 11 jaar mijn kenmerkende trektocht geweest en biedt een fantastisch once in a lifetime uitzicht. Dit is een volledig begeleide trektocht met een vrolijke gastheer. De groepsgrootte wordt erg klein en persoonlijk gehouden voor comfort en veiligheid van maximaal 2 tot 6 personen. Een kleine 30 minuten rijden van het stadscentrum van Kuala Lumpur brengt u naar een lokale Maleisische buitenwijk. Verwacht op de top van de bergkam een panoramisch uitzicht op de ongerepte ongerepte jungle aan de ene kant en KL-stad aan de andere kant. De hele tocht duurt ongeveer 2,5 - 3 uur (afhankelijk van het fitnessniveau), inclusief rustpauzes en fotosessies. We halen je 's ochtends helder en vroeg op bij je Airbnb-accommodatie om 6.30 uur. Trips duren doorgaans van 6.30 uur tot 11.30 uur lokale tijd. Een nieuwe set kleding (t-shirt, korte broek en slippers) zou de ervaring des te comfortabeler maken, omdat je super bezweet, maar toch tevreden zou zijn na de trektocht.

Amazing trek in the jungle, found some beautiful insects along our trek, the guide was also friendly and knowledgeable, he told us various stories about the place and the history of Malaysia, he also took great pictures of us! The view from the wedge was also spectacular, you can see the whole city and on the other side the lake which is the water supply for KL.
This trail is really nice and only a 20-minute drive away from the centre of KL. From the moment I booked, communication with Ben has been impeccable. He is really knowledgeable about the region and a great trail partner to have! The view is simply amazing from up there and the local breakfast at the end was an unexpected special treat! I will go back for sure on my next business trip to KL!
Our family (with 8 and 10yo kids) had a wonderful time hiking Dragon Back with Ben! Ben was quick to pick up on our interests and abilities, adjusting and tailoring the experience for us. We had good conversations, and he shared insights into plants, animals, and Malaysian culture/society while hiking. He was friendly and patient with our kids when they stopped to examine “one more” crystal over and over again. The hike itself was beautiful— jungle forest, rocky quartz ridge and ledges, steep at times. As we hiked, we saw monkeys, saw a huge stick bug, and heard gibbons in the distance.

We booked this trip last minute with Ben and we do not regret it. Ben was a great guide from start to end. He picked us up, took us to the hiking point, then to breakfast/brunch and dropped us off at the Batu Caves. He was well equipped and we felt safe in his hands. Thanks for a great hike/tour!
Great experience with my 10 year old son. The track was challenging enough such that it was rewarding but not arduous. Scenery was spectacular, jungle was phenomenal. Ben was an exceptional guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the environment we were in and offered some good insights about KL and Malaysia along the journey. Really well organised.
