Tijdens deze tour ontdek je de geneugten van de eetscene in het centrum van Sarasota terwijl je een ontspannen wandeling maakt met je persoonlijke gids! Terwijl je naar elk van de vier zorgvuldig geselecteerde eetgelegenheden wandelt, word je vermaakt met lokale folklore, historische feiten en verhalen waar zelfs wij ons afvragen ~ is dat echt gebeurd? Je leert over onze rijke geschiedenis van het Ringling Brothers Circus, de spanning tussen de indianen en de vroege kolonisten; evenals hoe een ongewone natuurlijke gebeurtenis de eerste pogingen tot vestiging deed ontsporen; je maakt kennis met onze nationaal erkende Street Art en Sarasota's eerste bordeel. Onderweg hoor je misschien ook een spookverhaal. Deze tour is een gemakkelijke 3 uur durende wandeltocht. Elke foodstop is anders (drie hartige offers en één zoetigheid) zodat u kunt genieten van de ambiance en gevarieerde smaken van onze restaurantpartners! Onze gidsen zijn leuk en energiek. Deze tour laat je gevuld achter met lekker eten en verblind door de interessante verhalen over onze geweldige stad.

TERRIBLE ! Absolutely a waste of time and money, We paid over $300 for two of us and I figure we had about $100 of very mediocre food. You will go first to a restaurant I would describe as one step above McDonalds where you will have a chicken taco. Then to an Italian restaurant (the only decent one we visited) where you will have an appetizer size portion of ravioli. Then on to ribs place where you will have a piece of dry corn bread and poor quality / small serving of pulled pork and mac and cheese. Then on to the fourth "restaurant" which is not a restaurant at all, just a tiny ice cream shop where you will be treated to a small serving of ice cream that you eat standing up. Our guide was fine, but the restaurants and food as compared to the price was a complete rip off. Definitely not "culinary" as advertised.

This was a fun tour to 4 different restaurants in downtown Sarasota. Our guide, Taven, was entertaining and informative as he led us to tastings at restaurants we had not yet been to during our many previous visits to Sarasota. The food samples were varied and quite tasty, as wells as very filling! We highly recommend this tour!
