Na het verkennen van de levendige onderwaterwereld van Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, zullen we opladen met een verfrissende selectie van tropisch fruit, perfect om de energie die wordt besteed aan snorkelen aan te vullen. Vervolgens maken we een korte culturele tour door Mkwiro of Vumba Village op Wasini Island. Dit is een zinvolle kans om het eilandleven te ervaren en te communiceren met de lokale gemeenschap. Als je kleine donaties zoals boeken, maandverband of voorzichtig gebruikte kleding wilt meenemen, worden ze hartelijk verwelkomd door lokale families. Na het dorpsbezoek keren we terug naar Shimoni voor een heerlijke Swahili lunch bereid door lokale vrouwen. U zult niet alleen genieten van de rijke, authentieke smaken van de kustkeuken, maar uw maaltijd ondersteunt ook deze vrouwen en hun gezinnen rechtstreeks.
Begin uw dag met onze vertrouwde lokale chauffeur, die u in de vroege ochtend van uw hotel ophaalt. Terwijl u door het prachtige kustlandschap reist, geniet u van uitzicht op charmante eigendommen en weelderige palmplantages. Aangekomen rond 8:00 uur, stap je aan boord van een boot (type is afhankelijk van de boekingen van de dag) om langs het prachtige Wasini-kanaal te varen. De dag biedt de perfecte balans tussen ontspanning en verkenning, te beginnen met snorkelen in Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park. Hier heb je de kans om dolfijnen te spotten (95% kans), levendig zeeleven en misschien zelfs zeeschildpadden!

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen je direct op bij je hotel of Airbnb in Diani. Onze chauffeur wacht bij de receptie of hoofdingang met een bordje met de naam van de hoofdreiziger voor eenvoudige identificatie. De chauffeur draagt een Thanni Tours bedrijfs T-shirt met ons logo op de voorkant en onze website op de achterkant, voor duidelijke herkenning. Andere ophaalgebieden staan er niet bij, u stuurt uw adres en de afspraken worden gemaakt. Pick-ups beginnen tussen ongeveer 6:45 en 7:45 van Diani Pick-ups beginnen tussen ongeveer 5:00 en 5:20 uur van Mombasa. Vertrek naar het marine park is afhankelijk van de ticketverwerking door de Kenya Wildlife Service.

What a fantastic experience we had on this day out! The crew on the dhow were amazing very friendly, informative, and professional. A special thanks to Mohamed, who made the snorkeling experience even better. We had a long snorkeling session,I can’t even tell if it was two or three hours because time flew by while enjoying the beautiful marine life. After snorkeling, we were served refreshing tropical fruits, and before our second snorkeling session we had cold sodas and tasty Swahili snacks. Later, we enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared on the mainland by the Swahili community. Wow! I have never tasted something so delicious. As an added bonus, we even saw dolphins! Highly recommend this experience.

it was a wonderful day! the snorkeling instructor was excellent. I was afraid at first and didn't want to try,but he was very professional and helped me overcome my fear.we spend about two hours snorkeling and the refreshment fresh fruit and cold sodas were top-notch we saw many Dolphins and the food was delicious The drivers were also very good.thank you!

What an amazing day with this tour group! Mohamed and Ali #2 were our guides and they showed us a great time! We booked our trip last minute after arriving in Diani and Mohamed was quick to respond, pick up time was prompt and the drive very comfortable. The boat crew were friendly and helpful. We were provided a light breakfast for an early departure. Mohamed allowed us to enjoy the dolphin watching and tour by holding our belongings and phones and to our surprise we had the greatest photos and videos! A true professional! Ali was a wonderful guide for snorkeling and got us up close to the dolphins and made sure we were not tiring out. After our snorkeling we had a tasty lunch on the boat before heading to Wasini Village. We took small donations of notebooks and pencils. Tshirts and lollipops to give to these sweet children who were so grateful. I truly encourage doing this if you can. After the village we rode back to the mainland and were entertained with singing from the crew who made sure to include a Happy Birthday song to my Husband! Lastly we toured the Shimoni Caves, a very eye opening experience. I can not wait to visit again and join this tour group. Thanks Thanni Tours!

Many thanks to the whole team,and especially to Thani-for their kindness and care Thani informed me in advance about what to carry and even asked if I had any food allergies three days before the trip,so I was well prepared for everything. We were only five of us yet they still offered a private Swahili dhow tour for the same price! I was so surprised and happy,I could hardly believe it. The long snorkeling session was amazing!We had the privilege of spotting different species of fish,and the crystal clear water was absolutely stunning.The crew went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every moment, offering fruit,sodas and drinking water,and soft music on board We spotted dolphins, creating unforgettable memories.We also visited the local villages Mkwiru and Vumba where we gave out books and sweets to the school kids. There were two of us on this tour and were very satisfied. They took care of wishes, saw dolphins, the food was super delicious. The village of Wasini was very welcoming. If you are planning to book this tour, please bring school supplies, clothes, sweets etc. for the children/residents. The joy is great and for us these are all normal things that are not so present there. The guides ask what is needed and you get information. Always happy with Thanni Tours, you are great. Thank you
