In deze beroemde laan zie je alle restaurants, bars en hotels vlakbij het strand, waar je door de verschillende gangen in de straat kunt gaan.
Old San Juan is de naam waaronder de historische wijk San Juan de Puerto Rico bekend staat. Het ligt op Isleta de San Juan, dat via bruggen met het hoofdeiland Puerto Rico is verbonden.
De geschiedenis van het Capitool begon op 7 februari 1907, toen Don Luis Munoz Rivera, een belangrijke figuur in de politieke geschiedenis van Puerto Rico en destijds wetgever, House Bill 84 introduceerde bij het Huis van Afgevaardigden.
Castillo San Felipe del Morro (ook bekend als “El Morro”), misschien wel het meest iconische fort gebouwd door de Spanjaarden in Amerika, beslaat een 43 meter hoog voorgebergte bij de ingang van de baai van San Juan. Dit fort bestaat uit 6 niveaus met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan, die allemaal zijn ontworpen om een verwoestend artillerievuur over vijandelijke schepen te creëren. Tegen de tijd dat het rond 1790 voltooid werd, had het de reputatie onoverwinnelijk te zijn en was het de meest gevreesde van alle Spaanse koloniale vestingwerken.
Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht dat de haven van San Juan biedt, de plaats waar alle grote cruises vanuit verschillende plaatsen hier stoppen om iets van dit prachtige eiland te zien. Hier bieden we verschillende typische gerechten uit Puerto Rico, omgeven door gebouwen met eeuwenoude architectuur die nog steeds de overhand heeft.
Distrito T-Mobile is een winkel- en uitgaanswijkcomplex gelegen naast het Puerto Rico Convention Center, onderdeel van een herontwikkeling van het Convention Center-gebied dat voor het eerst werd geopend in 2005.
La Placita de Santurce is een must voor iedereen die Puerto Rico bezoekt. De locatie werd meer dan 100 jaar geleden opgericht als een marktplein met twee niveaus. Als je van laat op de avond houdt, zul je La Placita geweldig vinden! De openings- en sluitingstijden van bars en clubs in La Placita variëren, maar veel bars gaan rond 21.00 of 22.00 uur open. en blijven open tot 02.00 uur. Bars en clubs zijn doorgaans geopend van woensdag of donderdag tot en met zondag, en op maandag en dinsdag is bijna alles gesloten.

The tour guy was nice, but I did not see what i expect to see old san juan and el morro. I was taken on the wrong tour, enjoy the tour but my daughters weren't dress for the beach tour and would have preferred the old San Juan tour.

I had a really fun time with Royal Adventures Puerto Rico. Saw lots of cool sites and had a great driver Michael. I wish we knew that there is an office in the hotel we met at and there is a 50$ surprise to buy insurance at the desk. Not a good way to start.
The tour guide was late. He even picked up the wrong group instead of us. If I did not text him, he would have gone with the wrong group. The tour started late and was definitely not what we paid for. The tour guide was even going to wrong direction as we paid for an island tour and not a beach tour. We could have just taken a taxi if we wanted to go to the beach. I would not recommend this tour. The price was ridiculous for what we got. A total rip-off. The tour is just a scam.

The tour guide was late and did not meet us in the lobby of the hotel. Then he surprised us with a waiver form that was not emailed ahead of time and evidently included a surprise charge for $50 insurance. Then he said his parking pass was stolen and he could not leave the garage. We waited in the hot stuffy parking garage with no end in sight before my daughter complained she felt faint and we had enough and left. There was no support from the tour company and when I told him I was unsatisfied he accused me of discriminatory language (lol). Stay away at all costs.

Regarding the concerns raised: The insurance fee of $50 USD is clearly stated in advance under “What’s Included and What’s Not Included” in the booking details. The waiver form is a standard safety requirement for all participants. The situation regarding parking was communicated as it occurred, and we made efforts to manage the delay. From our perspective, the issues described stem from a misunderstanding and refusal to proceed under the agreed terms, particularly the insurance requirement. We paid $350 essentially for a drive through San Juan in a Can Am. We made two stops, one in front of the “I love PR” sign for a photo and once at the TMobile venue. We had no historical or informational commentary. I see others drove on a beach. Our driver pointed at one beach when we passed. We were expressly told to wait in the lobby of the Double Tree hotel for a noon tour. No one showed. I sent two emails and twice left messages at the number provided with no response. At 12:30 someone called and said we were in the wrong place, which we were not. We finally got started 45 minutes late but were delivered back to the hotel at two, which meant our “tour” was 1 hour 15 minutes, not 2 hours because we followed their instructions. While we enjoyed the Can Am experience and the driver was a nice guy, we in no way received what was advertised. We nothing about anything we saw, so it should be advertised as a drive not a guided tour.
