Ontdek de hoofdstad van Finland met een tour ontworpen voor cruisepassagiers, inclusief ophalen in de haven van Helsinki en een terugkeer naar uw schip op tijd voor vertrek. U wordt begroet in de haven van Helsinki door onze professionele gids. We stappen dan aan boord van ons comfortabele voertuig met airconditioning om uw sightseeingavontuur in de stad te beginnen.
Na het verlaten van de haven geniet u van een panoramische rit. Onze eerste korte stop is bij het beroemde Sibelius Monument, een unieke sculptuur gemaakt van honderden stalen pijpen ter ere van de grote Finse componist Jean Sibelius.
We maken een korte stop bij het iconische Olympisch Stadion, de belangrijkste locatie van de Olympische Zomerspelen 1952 en een trots symbool van de Finse sportgeschiedenis.
Tijdens onze panoramische rit komen we langs het indrukwekkende parlementsgebouw, het Nationaal Museum en het grote operagebouw.
Geniet van een korte fotostop bij Oodi, de prachtige moderne bibliotheek en culturele hub van Helsinki, gelegen in het hart van de stad.
We passeren ook het Centraal Station, bekend om zijn opvallende architectuur en iconische klokkentoren.
U ziet de Uspenski Kathedraal, de grootste orthodoxe kerk in West-Europa, hoog boven de haven met prachtige uitzichten.
We rijden langs het elegante presidentiële paleis, de officiële residentie die de president van Finland gebruikt voor staatsfuncties en recepties.
Vervolgens geniet u van een wandeltocht door de bruisende Markt. U ziet de kathedraal van Helsinki en het historische Senaatsplein en wandelt vervolgens over de charmante Esplanadi-promenade, omzoomd met cafés, boetiekjes en historische gebouwen.
Aan het einde van de sightseeing heb je wat vrije tijd om te winkelen en te eten, bij het spectaculaire goddelijke vrouwelijke standbeeld van Havis Amanda, het meest geliefde monument in heel Finland!
We sluiten de tour af met een soepele terugrit naar uw cruiseschip, zodat u verzekerd bent van een tijdige terugkeer. Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om langer in de stad te blijven en een taxi terug te nemen naar de haven.

Our guide was interesting and informative. We vert much enjoyed our stops and interesting fact about Finland and Helsinki.
We had a great day exploring Helsinki with George as our guide. The tour was well planned out and gave us a good mix of sightseeing, local history, and free time to enjoy the city. We especially enjoyed finishing the day at the food market, which was a great way to experience some local flavours. Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki
The tour included quite a bit of sightseeing from the comfort of our sprinter van. The driver was very safe and efficient, and our guide, Tanya, was awesome. She provided so many interesting facts and a lot of fun commentary. She pointed out a lot of key things along the ride and also lead us on several walking portions of the tour. She did a great job explaining Finland history, as well insights on the current state for the country.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I hope this helps others. This tour was not a good experience. To begin with the van we were in had very low windows that mass it difficult to take pictures. Considering this was a mostly driving tour (pass by) most of the sights, and we passed by quickly, we got very few good pictures. Or guide was pleasant but gave us very little in the way of the historical perspective of Finland. The Oodi Library was the highlight of the tour. As an example, while at the Oodi I asked the tour guide about a sculpture across from the library and what it represented. He responded “It is art”. Based on what we saw and experienced on this tour, we would not return to Finland. We do not recommend this tour.

Excellent guide gave us a full history of Finland and took us to some very interesting places. The library was fabulous. He even gave us some Finnish chocolate to try 😋

Very knowledgeable guide. He was receptive to individual requests. Only negative- this group was hard to find in a very busy port since he did not have a sign identifying the tour. Also difficult to follow him on crowded streets. A sign or identifiable outfit would have helped.

Excellent tour and covered a lot of ground. Unfortunately we lost some time due to others in the group not listening to our guides instructions about meeting points/times. Free time ended up rushed so we chose to stay in the city and make our own way back to the ship. Overall am excellent day and beats the big group tours offered by the ships
