De zes vergeten reuzentrollen jagen met een minibus
Beschrijving
Het is een kans voor internationale mensen om het Deense platteland te zien en tijd door te brengen met de natuur. Alle zes reuzen bevinden zich in afgelegen gebieden rond Kopenhagen. Wandelen door de velden en het vinden van de reuzen is dus een spannende ervaring. Thomas en zijn team hebben veel verschillende sculpturen gemaakt van gerecyclede materialen en afval. Ze hebben zich gespecialiseerd in het maken van houten sculpturen uit sloophout, zoals Hector Protector en Troels The Troll, maar ze hebben ook veel ervaring met het maken van sculpturen uit andere materialen zoals plastic en zelfs karton.

Slapen Louis doet een dutje op een heuvel, bedekt met bomen en natuur, op een geheime plek in Rødovre buiten Kopenhagen. Mensen kunnen in zijn gapende mond kruipen en in hem spelen of zelfs slapen.
Hill Top Trine rust op de top van een kleine heuvel in Hvidovre, Kopenhagen, waar je in de palmen van haar handen kunt kruipen en een prachtig uitzichtpunt kunt krijgen over Avedøresletten. Ze is vernoemd naar een van de vrijwilligers die aan een van de andere verborgen reuzen werkte.
litteken onder de brug is gemaakt van sloophout van een gesloopte watermolen en kapotte pallets van lokale industrieën. Hij is vernoemd naar een kunstenaar uit Chili die Thomas kwam bezoeken en hem hielp bij zijn werk in de tijd dat Thomas en zijn team het beeld aan het bouwen waren.
Korte pauze bij Vallensbæk Mose, waar gasten gebruik kunnen maken van het openbare toilet. Aparte toiletten zijn beschikbaar voor mannen en vrouwen, en de faciliteiten zijn toegankelijk voor oudere bezoekers.
Little Tilde is gelegen in het gebied van Vallensbæk Mose, af prachtig gebied vol met wilde natuur en dierenleven. Ze kijkt door de bomen aan de andere kant van een klein meertje, vanwaar je een glimp van haar kunt opvangen op afstand.
Thomas On The Mountain heeft bovenop een heuvel een goede plek gevonden om te chillen. Vanaf hier heeft hij een geweldig uitzicht over de gemeente Albertslund, en jij ook als je met hem meegaat. Zijn benen zijn lang en een goede plek om met je vrienden te zitten
Teddyvriendelijk is gemaakt van lokaal sloophout, inclusief afgesneden stukken van omgehakte lokale bomen, die voor zijn vacht zijn gebruikt. Hij staat bij een waterstroom, bij een meer en steekt zijn hand uit om mensen te helpen oversteken.

It was amazing. Loved everything about it. Ended up only being five people so had small group feel, the tour guide was everything and later we learned he was the owner. We were on a nice, new, comfortable, and modern van. He took pictures for us, gave us water, ensured we could hear and understand the history by using technology to enhance the tour. Well worth the cost.

There is some walking involved and the weather changes constantly but the tour was definitely worth it and very enjoyable.

I loved this tour! I’m a fan of the trolls having experienced 2 previously in Colorado USA. The guide was very nice and I learned a lot about the artist and the history of the troll mission. Highly recommend!

The 6 Forgotten Giant Trolls is a fabulous tour experience! The trolls are amazing and each one is unique. We were driven in a very comfortable van and given ample time at each troll for photos. The short walk to each troll was very enjoyable. During our travel time, we listened to a brief recorded description of each troll as well as info about the artist. The tour operator is very friendly and wants you to enjoy your experience. It was a fabulous tour that I highly recommend for ALL ages!

It’s a LOT of walking and everyone was fast! Each troll stop was too short and made my experience not great. The driver was friendly but the Ai recording that played was a major turnoff. It was a warm day and the bus air was basically non existent. The driver/host gave us water and was courteous but this was not a great experience for me.

Perfect weather to hunt for these trolls. Great fun coming from the US and seeing some of the original trolls in Dambo’s native country. A must for every Troll Hunter.

Our guide was excellent and the narration between troll stops was very informative. The short hikes to the trolls were lovely. It was awesome seeing the 6 giants!
