Do, re, mis de Sound of Music Tour niet! Deze dagtrip neemt u mee naar de prachtige landschappen en locaties waar de wereldberoemde film 'The Sound of Music' werd opgenomen. De Engelstalige gids toont u niet alleen de filmlocaties, maar ook de historische en architectonische hoogtepunten van de stad en een deel van het schilderachtige merengebied.

Zie de prachtige Mirabell Gardens waar het nummer "Do-Re-Mi" werd gefilmd en verken de Pegasusfontein en de Do-Re-Mi-trappen.
Geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht tijdens een fotostop bij het Leopoldskronmeer, die het paleis weerspiegelt, waar de beroemde bootscène werd gefilmd. Geen bezoek aan het paleis/terrein
De volgende fotostop zijn de tuinen van Schloss Hellbrunn, waar u het glazen tuinhuisje bezoekt dat in de film wordt gebruikt voor de zoenscène van Maria en Baron von Trapp. Geen bezoek aan het paleis/trucfonteinen
U komt voorbij Stift Nonnberg, waar Maria novice was en trouwde met Baron von Trapp.
U gaat nu naar het merengebied langs het meer van Fuschl en het meer van Wolfgang, waar panorama-opnamen werden gemaakt. Geniet tijdens een korte fotostop van het uitzicht op het Wolfgangmeer en de adembenemende Alpenbergketen
U hebt ongeveer 1 uur om op uw gemak Mondsee te verkennen, waar u de gelegenheid hebt om een bezoek te brengen aan de beroemde Basilika St. Michael, waar het huwelijk van Maria en Baron von Trapp werd gefilmd.

We had a fantastic day out in Salzburg and saw so much. The trip to Montsee was so beautiful and the communal singing was very enjoyable. I could have sung more on the way home!!
Our experience was amazing! David and Alex were great hosts. David was the best tour guide we’ve had in Europe. He was loud enough (but not too loud) for the entire group to enjoy his stories and facts. They were flexible with the group but also kept us on a good schedule. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see Salzburg and enjoy interesting facts about the Sound of Music!
I thoroughly enjoyed all four hours of this tour. Why? The docent makes the tour. In this case, we didn’t simply see Salzburg city sites and places associated with the making of the Sound of Music, nor did we simply see the glorious mountains and lakes east of Salzburg to Mondsee, our guide passionately spun numerous stories of the movie. I loved his sense of humor and apparently the tour did as well for there was much laughter and singing. Well done. And kudos to our driver for we had the afternoon slot and negotiating the city and country roads was no minor feat. All in all, the driving was top notch and I say this as the son of a professional driver. Kudos. To those reading this review, yes, this is a tour most appropriate for fans of the movie and actually enjoy singing along (we didn’t simply four songs and heard a few more). If you want strict Salzburg history, read the title of the tour and browse some more: we needed this light and fun tour after numerous days of excellent but often sobering museums. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

It was a fabulous day!!! The bus was very comfortable. They had drinks we could purchase . Driver was great! Best tour guide ever! She LOVES the Sound of Music and her excitement about it made it so special. We sang songs and watched some video. Went to the Abbey, saw the Gazebo and so much more. Lots of history about the Von Trapp family and so much more. Definitely recommend this tour!!!!

The tour was excellent from start to finish. Our tour guide Kylie was brilliant—so knowledgeable and fun throughout, and it was great to see the movie locations up close. This tour was everything advertised. Words can’t describe the beauty of the town. My family and I had some trouble getting from Vienna to Salzburg in time for the tour and arrived frazzled but the jovial nature of our guides and driver reset the tone and we had the absolute best time. The weather was lovely for our day out. There were snacks and beverages available to buy just as peckishness might have begun to distract us. We loved hearing all the behind the scenes nuggets about the film and what can beat singing those famous tunes with strangers who love the film as much as we do..
