Ontdek de rol en het belang van de "Tunnel of Hope" voor de lokale bevolking tijdens het beleg van Sarajevo. De tunnel werd in 1993 gegraven en het was het enige licht in de duisternis van belegerde Sarajevo in de jaren negentig. Onze gids zal de redenen en gevolgen van de Bosnische oorlog uitleggen en hoe deze tot een einde kwam. Op weg naar de Tunnel zie je de Nationale Bibliotheek, de Marktplaats Markale waar een van de grootste bloedbaden plaatsvond, de Sniper Alley en het Holiday Inn Hotel waar buitenlandse journalisten tijdens de oorlog verbleven.

Je gids zal je ontmoeten voor ons kantoor. Probeer er minstens 5 minuten voor de tour te zijn.
Op weg naar het Tunnel Museum rijdt u door de Sniper Alley.

Must visit if you are motivated to understand the disasters of war. The visit has only a part of the original tunnel and some photos and explanatory material. I find it expensive for what it is, although interesting to understand the suffering of the population. When you arrive, do not enter the first parking lot on the left, it costs 2 km. If you keep going straight, you can park for free next to the coaches
The tour guide explained us everything about the siege of Sarajevo, so we were able to understand better the complex history of the country. Highly raccomended!
Story telling about life and survival under a war. To experience small part how bosnian suffered for just a human right to exist.

A visit more than complete. Our guide was a police officer during the war in Sarajevo and thus knows the reality as few. Super interesting, helpful and friendly. I recommend without hesitation.

Visiting sarajevo is very worthwhile, it is a charming city and the people are wonderful.The guided tours to the tunnel of hope seemed to relive that damn war
