Een traktatie voor Beatles fans. Mijn wandeltocht is een reis vol feiten naar het Beatles leven in Londen. De tour die vele locaties zal bestrijken die geassocieerd worden met de Fab Four. Terwijl Liverpool hun geboortestad was, waar ze opgroeiden en waar ze voor het eerst optraden, is het Londen dat zoveel Beatles geschiedenis heeft. We beginnen onze wandeling bij het huis van Sir Paul McCartney in Londen. We lopen over de beroemde Abbey Road Crossing, de locatie van de Abbey Road Studios en de Abbey Road Studio shop. We maken een korte metroreis naar Marylebone en een filmlocatie voor Hard Days Night We zullen zien waar de Apple Boutique shop was en de locatie waar twee Beatles drie keer getrouwd waren. We zullen dan een Blauwe Plaquette zien voor John Lennon en horen over de drugsvangst die leidde tot zijn arrestatie en Yoko. We bezoeken het voormalige huis van de familie Asher., waar Paul een beroemd lied droomde. We eindigen onze tour op 3 Savile Row, de locatie van het laatste Beatles concert ooit

Nadat de Beatles niet slaagden voor de auditie bij DECCA, liet Brian Epstein de opnames op schijf zetten. Een ingenieur vulde de heer Epstein aan op de opnames. De heer Epstein zei: "Ze gaan groter dan Elvis"

Our tour guy was very knowledgeable about the Beatles. He knows lots of little things and show us so many places. He was willing to take pictures everywhere we stopped. He had lots of Beatles pictures on his iPad which he used to enhance every story he told. Well worth it!

The walking/tube trip was entertaining, professional and thoroughly a bargain - Grant was terrific, knowledgeable and completely in tune with the three couples he led tp several Beatles historic sites. Absolutely recommended for anyone wanting a perfect couple hours of sites, audio and visual aides and a nice stroll through some back streets and main thoroughfares of London. A bargain, too.

Lots of fun for any Beatles fan. The tour was a great way to see parts of London that are somewhat off the beaten path. Crossing Abbey Road is worth the risk of the busy traffic corner.

It is a low key, informative and classy tour w Grant. He is not a showman, he shares his love of the music and band’s history with his group. We got to see iconic Beatles locations and learn about their music and personal history. We got to take the tube together as well which was helpful for our first-timers. He looked out for his travelers and made sure we all stayed together. We highly recommend this tour.
