De Super Sacred Valley tour is de perfecte opmaat om Machu Picchu te bezoeken, dus we raden aan om in de middag de trein naar Aguas Calientes te nemen. Deur-tot-deur service inbegrepen: We halen je direct op bij de deur van je hotel en zetten je aan het einde van de tour af op dezelfde locatie. Belangrijk: Deze service is alleen beschikbaar voor accommodaties in het historische centrum van Cusco. Chinchero: dankzij onderzoeken uit de jaren zestig is ontdekt dat sommige muren toebehoren aan een Inca-paleis, bedekt met aarde door de Spanjaarden. We zullen ook een tentoonstellingscentrum van textiel en Zuid-Amerikaanse kameelachtigen vinden.
Moray, een mysterieus archeologisch Inca-centrum bestaande uit amfitheatervormige terrassen die dienden als landbouwlaboratorium voor de oude Tahuantinsuyo.
Maras, daar vinden we de zoutmijnen, indrukwekkende zoutbronnen met meer dan 5.000 bronnen die sinds de Inca-periode worden geëxploiteerd.

Ollantaytambo, onafgebroken bewoond sinds de Inca-tijden, en beklim het iconische fort, ingebouwd in de zijkant van de berg. Optioneel: Als u de trein van Ollantaytambo naar Machu Picchu heeft, kunnen we u daarna afzetten bij het treinstation, in dit geval kunt u de tour naar Pisac niet doen.
Pisac, je kunt de stad verkennen, waar we ook een ambachtsmarkt zullen vinden. Daarna gaan we naar het archeologische centrum van dezelfde stad, een meesterwerk van de landbouw van het Inca-rijk.

Tour rich in culture, an immersion in Inca history. We left around 6:30 p.m.; the stop time is short, but enough for photos and to know a little bit of the place. We arrived around 19h; in Pisac, we arrived near the closure, so we didn't go very far, staying only at the first viewpoint. I would dispense the stopping in the stone and silver store, not the store itself, because the explanation of the boy is quite interesting; but some people decide to buy, and take a long time to choose and return to the van; who does not buy, is waiting for the goodwill and the notion of some people from the group, which ends up delaying the return to Cusco. Moreover, I believe there should be a stop time for the selection of these products. The day we went, people took almost 30min choosing. I found notion and respect for those who expected.

We did the Sacred Valley with Maras and Moray and it was one of the tours that most connected us to Inca history. Moray’s circular platforms are fascinating and the Maras saline plants are visually impressive and culturally rich. The guide explained very well the agricultural and historical function of these sites and the transportation between points was comfortable. Ideal for those who want to understand the Inca agricultural engineering in a well spent day.

Erick and Walter were great. This tour was the perfect way to make our way to Ollantaytambo. We did not do the last stop of our tour, instead we caught a train to Águas Calientes.
