Reis naar Moreton Island vanuit Brisbane of de Gold Coast voor een hele dag plezier in de zon. Je gids neemt je mee per 4WD-voertuig langs het zand naar Tangalooma Wrecks, waar je ongelooflijke koraalriffen zult zien tijdens snorkel- en kajaktochten. Je gaat ook het binnenland in voor een opwindende ervaring met sandboarden op enorme zandduinen. Deze actievolle tour omvat een lunch op het strand en tijd om te genieten van het landschap van het prachtige Moreton Island, het op twee na grootste zandeiland ter wereld. 'S Ochtends haalt uw 4WD-bus u op van de Gold Coast of Brisbane en reist vervolgens naar de veerboot naar Moreton Island. Geniet tijdens de 75 minuten durende veerboot over Moreton Bay van het uitzicht vanaf het dek of de cabine, houd een oogje in het zeil voor dolfijnen en andere zeedieren. Wanneer je het eiland bereikt, rijdt je 4WD-voertuig langs het zand naar de Tangalooma-wrakken waar je verschillende opties hebt voor strandplezier. Volg je gids op een snorkeltour langs de beroemde scheepswrakken; de 15 schepen werden hier doelbewust tot zinken gebracht om een breekwand te creëren. Dit resulterende rif is de thuisbasis van kleurrijke koralen, tropische vissen, trevally, yellowtail, wobbegong, kingfish en meer. Als snorkelen je niet aanspreekt, gebruik dan de meegeleverde transparante bodyboards om te peddelen op zoek naar schildpadden, rifvissen, koraal en andere beestjes, of ontspan gewoon op het witte zandstrand. Na de snorkeltour serveert uw gids een picknicklunch voordat hij een tour op transparante kajaks leidt om de Tangalooma-wrakken te verkennen. Blijf droog terwijl je een verbazingwekkende reeks vissen onder je kajak bekijkt. (Houd er rekening mee dat een 4WD-tour rond het eiland het snorkelen en kajakken zal vervangen als de omstandigheden ongunstig zijn). Houd vervolgens vol terwijl uw bestuurder uw 4WD op ruwe binnenlandpaden neemt naar hoge zandduinen die ideaal zijn voor sandboarden, een leuke, adrenalineactiviteit vergelijkbaar met rodelen. Het is mogelijk om snelheden tot 30 mphr (50 km / u) te bereiken terwijl je door de duinen snelt. Na het sandboarden keert u terug naar de kust en kunt u zwemmen in Tangalooma Beach (als de tijd het toelaat). Neem vervolgens de veerboot terug naar het vasteland en bereik 's avonds Brisbane of de Gold Coast.

The tour guides were very knowledgeable and extremely approachable as well. Liam was a great guide and helped when we were stuck. The guided snorkelling was unbelievable and it was definitely the highlight of the tour! Safety was also a major priority at all times, ensuring that everyone understood and upheld the safety standards! 10/10 experience!!
Experience was a lot of fun! Sandboarding in the dunes of Moreton was a very cool experience and the kyaking with transparent kyaks with fish swimming underneath was really amazing.Moreton is beautiful. But It was very expensive for what you get. The ferry and entrance to the park is additional to the cost of the tour, so it makes the day very costly. Lunch was pretty good (chicken wraps but just water to drink). The guides were great. Unfortunately the fin cost just outweighs the experience for a ROI.
We had such a fun time exploring Morton Island. The tour guides Scotty and Jacob were amazing and so helpful. Keith the bus driver was also great helped us see a bit of Brisbane. Honestly one of the highlights of our trip and could not recommend this more!

Keith, Jacob and Josh were all so welcoming. They made sure everyone was ready and comfortable with each experience. This was my favorite excursion I have done with Viator. Jacob was very personable and got to know us during the day! It was like being with family!! For future adventurers: CLOSE your mouth when going down the sand dunes!!!!
Really lovely setting and a smooth boat ride. Catering was great. The snorkelling, kayaking and desert dunes trip was great, with lots of fish. The hosts weren't the most hospitable, in particular the guide who got in the water with us snorkeling I asked one of them a question on the barge trip over and he was not happy about it, and every other time I said something to him it seemed it was some sort of inconvenience. My wetsuit hadn't been washed and was full of sand and soaking wet (for some reason they don't dry their wetsuits inside out). When I asked where the toilet was the guide answered me like I was stupid. An amazing day seeing all the sights but their customer service needs to be brought up to scratch.
Had literally the best day ever big John and Jakob were absolutely amazing made the day so memorable they even played some Scottish music on the bus for us lol would 100% do this again and recommend anyone that’s thinking about it to book it !

One of the best experience we have had in our GC trip. kayaking around the famous Tangalooa Wreks, snorkeling among the marine life, and sandboarding down the massive dunes made for an exciting day. Our friendly guide shared so many stories. Island's natural beauty was incredible.
Sandbergs are exhausting. Snorkeling was so beautiful with so many fish Of course, the oceans are the most transparent.
