Dagtrip naar de westkust vanuit Kaapstad
Beschrijving
Deze dagtrip is gericht op mensen met weinig tijd over maar die wel wat willen leren over de Westkust. De natuur staat centraal bij al onze Reizen. We beginnen de dag met een stop bij het prachtige Blaawberg Beach voor een Instagram waardige foto van de Tafelberg. We streven er altijd naar om onze geschiedenis en cultuur te delen met gasten. Deze tour doet precies dat, het verkent de San cultuur en stelt je in staat om terug te gaan in de tijd om een beter begrip te krijgen van onze eerste mensen. Een stop bij het West Coast National Park is een must als u het gebied bezoekt. Tijdens de lente wordt het gebied gekleurd door de prachtige wilde bloemen die uniek zijn voor deze regio (augustus tot september). Hoogtepunten zijn onder andere de Langebaan lagune en een eventuele zwempartij als de omstandigheden goed zijn. Dus pak dat kostuum in en kom een dagje mee naar de westkust!

Begin uw dag op Blouberg Beach, waar u de perfecte opname van de iconische Tafelberg kunt maken.
Dit is het enige erfgoedcentrum dat is belast met het bewaren en opnieuw vertellen van het verhaal van de eerste mensen. De San-mensen uit heel Zuid-Afrika zijn afhankelijk van deze faciliteit om hun erfgoed te behouden. Dit is een geweldige faciliteit die gelooft in duurzaamheid en onderwijs.
Verken het West Coast National Park, een oase van natuurlijke schoonheid. Tijdens de lente is het park versierd met levendige wilde bloemen die uniek zijn voor deze regio. Hoogtepunten van het bezoek zijn onder andere de prachtige Langebaan lagune. Als de tijd het toelaat en de omstandigheden gunstig zijn, kunt u zelfs een verfrissende duik nemen.
Als de tijd het toelaat gaan we naar de Atlantis Sand Dunes voor een begeleide wandeling. Deze duinen zijn een natuurwonder en bieden een sereen en uitgestrekt landschap dat uitnodigt om je onder te dompelen in de natuur.

We had a fantastic day on our tour with Yamkela. He made our last full day here in South Africa memorable and we are thankful for all his knowledge and enthusiasm during the tour. The !Khwa ttu Heritage Center, the Western Cape National Park and surrounds are a must see when visiting Cape Town. This area is very much forgotten. Lunch at the Heritage Centre was exquisite. We hade a great day together with our guide Asanda, he really made the day. It was a really relaxing day, fun and informative. Best way to discover Cape Town with kids is with your own guide and bus. Next time we are back in Cape Town and need a guide we will reach out to Asanda to guide us. /Andersson Family

Enjoyed all the info and we were surprised to see so many animals but not as many flowers as we expected. Would have loved more time at the beach in the National Park.

Definitely something different! I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the indigenous people of southern Africa. This tour is great as it incorporates elements of has sound, taste and sight, very different to your average museum experience. The guide Diane was super friendly and informative! Thanks, Asanda. It’s an excursion that blends the historical side with the natural beauty of the west coast. For a few hours we were immersed in the San culture. Everything was very well organized. Langebann and his lagoon was the icing on the cake. Finally a place where you can swim without being cold. I recommend this excursion.
