- Van november tot maart, wanneer het pad onveilig is door sneeuw en ijs, vervangen we de Sequoia-wandeling door extra tijd in Yosemite Valley.
- De tour stopt rond 08:30 uur voor het ontbijt, 13:00 uur voor de lunch en 18:00 uur voor het diner op de terugweg. Maaltijden zijn niet inbegrepen.
- De Californische wet vereist dat tourgasten een autoveiligheidsstoel meenemen voor alle kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar en jonger dan 1,4 meter.
- De winter in Yosemite is veel kouder dan in San Francisco. Draag warme kleding en schoenen met rubberen zolen en goede grip.

This was a wonderful trip from San Francisco. It was great that the pick up was right outside our hotel. The tour guide (Randall) and bus driver (Coney) were both fantastic. The tour guide was training the bus driver so we had two great men on our trip. The stop at the Safeway for potty and picking up food was wonderful. You can grab a coffee at the Starbucks inside and then grab some snacks and lunch for later in the day. I highly recommend getting lunch here because if you wait to grab lunch in Yosemite, you won't have very much time to look around the park. The lodge was very busy and I was glad we ate our lunch on the bus while driving. We stopped at a few places to get beautiful views of Half Dome and El Capitan. The views of the park are stunning. The falls weren't really "falling" as it was August and mostly dry. Spring and early summer you can see them better according to our guide. The Tuolumne Sequoia Forest was beautiful but beware - it is about a mile down to see the trees. The walk down wasn't bad, but coming back is not for the faint at heart. It will take twice as long (longer if you have asthma or bad knees). I am glad I did it, but I heard the Muir Woods hike was much easier. I am so glad we did this tour. It was a very long day on a bus, but you get to sit back and view the beautiful scenery as you drive by. The guide tells you about the areas as you travel by and gives you a good history of the area.

Randall was a fabulous tour guide. The tour is long 15 hours. It mostly consists of driving. But Yosemite is a site to behold.

My trip from beginning to end was well informed and I was kept in the loop with expectations, things I needed to come with to be prepared (child seat laws in California differ from Indiana). Our guide Andy Howse was phenomenal, brought waters for us, circled spots on the map to make things easy and convenient to get the most out of our free time, told historical stories that correlated with the trip, shared educational information about the parks and sang! The parks were amazing the weather was fabulous! I couldn’t ask for a better day! Another good family trip on the books

I had so much fun Andy Howse was so knowledgeable on history and everything happening in the forest. I had such a blast with him I never felt bored even though the ride was super long. It was a big crowd because we came in August but still everywhere was beautiful. The water was low since it was August but it’s still so cool because the photos just look like computer backgrounds.

We loved getting to know Yosemite and hiking there in our free time. It was a busy day but once you are out in the wild you’ll love it. Our guide Andy Howse was always kind and approchable to ask any questions and not to mention his historical knowledge he gives you to know about the national park. He even bought us water to all the group making sure no one had a hard day. The only thing for them to make better is to have an option of accompaniment in the free time for those who aren’t close to the activities.
