De tour begint wanneer u wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel in Cusco. Vervolgens gaan we met de toeristenbus naar het treinstation van Ollantaytambo, waar u aan boord stapt van de trein naar Aguas Calientes. De duur van de treinreis bedraagt 1 uur en 45 minuten. Onderweg kunt u genieten van prachtige landschappen met uitgestrekte landbouwgronden, vee, bergen en met sneeuw bedekte bergtoppen. Bij aankomst op het treinstation van Aguas Calientes staat onze gids klaar om u naar het busstation te brengen. Vervolgens rijden we in 30 minuten naar het heiligdom van Machu Picchu. Nadat u de Inca-stad Machu Picchu bent binnengekomen, begint de gids met een rondleiding langs de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden. De rondleiding duurt ongeveer 2 uur en 30 minuten. Daarna hebben we vrije tijd om foto's te maken. Aan het einde van uw bezoek aan Machu Picchu keert u terug naar Aguas Caliente, waar u de trein terug naar Ollantaytambo neemt en vervolgens aan boord gaat van het voertuig dat u terugbrengt naar de stad Cusco.

Daarna reizen we 30 minuten naar het heiligdom van Machu Picchu, nadat we de Inca-stad Machu Picchu zijn binnengegaan, de gids zal begin met de rondleiding langs de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van gemiddeld 02.30 uur. Daarna hebben we vrije tijd om foto's te maken. Aan het einde van het bezoek aan Machu Picchu keert u terug naar Aguas Caliente, neemt u de trein om terug te keren naar Ollantaytambo en stapt u vervolgens in het voertuig dat u terugbrengt naar de stad Cusco.

Everything was very well organized and went without any problems. Seeing Manchu Picchu involves a lot of planning. There are different circuits in the park for which you have to get tickets at specific times when they are released for sale. Then getting there from Cusco involves train tickets and bus tickets - it’s an all day adventure. I felt overwhelmed planning it myself and this tour was all inclusive and took care of everything. It costs a little more than doing it yourself but it was so worth it! Everything was planned out for us and the tickets to the best circuit (circuit #2) were provided. We chose the afternoon entrance because I didn’t want to wake up at 4 am. Our pickup was at 8 am for entrance to the park at 2 pm. The city of Machu Picchu is truly an amazing sight to see no matter what time. Getting there was also an experience and all was well organize and planned. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an perfectly organized tour to Machu Picchu. Got picked up by a personal driver in a comfortable car. He brought us to the train station were we entered the train to Aguas Calientes. There a lady waited for us and brought us to the bus to Machu Picchu where our guide already waited for us. The guide was friendly, competent and spoke very good English. He explained a lot and showed us pictures from the past when they discovered this amazing place. After the tour we had some time in Aguas Calientes to get some really good food and take a look the small village before taking the train back, where our driver was waiting for us to bring us back to our hotel. Would recommend this company to all my friends and family. They bought all the tickets for us and gave them to us the evening before. Also the guy explained everything very well. Thank you so much would do it again!!!

A well organised excursion. We were met the day before with the company who ran through the itinerary with us and provided all our tickets for the various stages of the trip. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Our guide was Julio and he was very knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend.
From the pick-up at the hotel, to the transfer to train, to the final bus to go up to Machu Picchu, as complex as it may sound, everything ran smoothly, with the agency doing a close follow up with WSP messaging. The guide provided useful and interesting explanations, and allowed us to cover most Machu Picchu. It was an excellent journey from the beginning to the end. The tour operater sent us a detailled schedule with the timing the day before. We even spoke on the phone with him to make sure we had received the information. The next day on our way to the train station he provided all the tickets required for the train, acces to Machu Picchu and bus to site. We also had an excellent tour guide, Richard, for the visit of Machu Picchu. He gave us a lot of information on the history of the Inca and the site. We highly recommend this tour. We really enjoyed the full day Machu Picchu tour. The whole trip is planned out for you so there is no need to stress about making connections between the train, bus and taxi. Our guide Julio was very knowledgeable (we did circuit 2) and gave us plenty of time to look around and take photos. Taxi services between Ollantaytambo and the hostel were comfortable and professional. We would recommend booking this tour.
