Steek de Cordillera over en ontdek een van de meest indrukwekkende landschappen van de regio Cusco, beschermd door de Nevado Ausangate, een van de hoogste toppen in Peru. Tijdens deze tour bezoekt u 7 lagunes die meer dan 4.500 meter boven zeeniveau liggen, elk met zeer unieke kleuren die alle bezoekers betoveren. We beginnen met een bezoek aan het dorp Pacchanta, gelegen op slechts een paar kilometer van de voet van de Nevado Ausangate. Daarna steek je het Vilcanota-gebergte over en bezoek je de lagunes Pucacocha, Patococha, Alcacocha, Comercocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo en Azul Cocha. Ook zie je de Nevado Ausangate (6.384 meter boven zeeniveau) van dichtbij. Tot slot heb je aan het einde van de trek de mogelijkheid om je lichaam en geest te ontspannen in de warmwaterbronnen van Pacchanta.

Ons team haalt je op bij je accommodatie om aan dit avontuur te beginnen. Zorg ervoor dat je op de geplande tijd klaar bent en vergeet niet je uitrusting voor koud weer mee te nemen voor deze tour! Het duurt ongeveer 3 1/2 uur om Pacchanta vanuit Cusco te bereiken. Onderweg kunt u de zonsopgang en het prachtige landschap langs de route zien. Als we eenmaal in Pacchanta zijn, stoppen we voor het ontbijt om ons meer energie te geven en op te warmen voordat we aan de wandeling beginnen.
Het zal ons ongeveer 3,5 uur kosten om alle lagunes onderweg naar boven te bezoeken. Bij deze gelegenheid maak je kennis met deze magische lagunes en alle mystiek eromheen! Na een bezoek aan de 7 lagunes keren we terug naar het kleine stadje Pacchanta om uit te rusten van onze tour voordat we naar het volgende deel gaan.
Bij aankomst in Pacchanta gaan we naar een restaurant om het heerlijke eten uit de Andes te proeven, waar de lokale smaken van de regio ons gehemelte omhullen. Indien gewenst is het mogelijk om een bad te nemen in de warmwaterbronnen van Pacchanta. Onthoud dat dit een optionele activiteit is, dus als je het niet wilt doen, heb je vrije tijd om de omgeving van dit magische dorp te verkennen. Nu is het tijd om uit te rusten en te ontspannen terwijl we de Andes oversteken terug naar de keizerlijke stad van de Inca's. We zullen rond 18.30 uur in Cusco aankomen.

The tour is undoubtedly stunning: landscapes that take the breath (literally). But it is essential that the disclosure be more clear about the level of difficulty: walking for more than 5 hours above the 4,000 meters of altitude requires physical preparation and adaptation to altitude. It's not a light walk, and that has to be said with all the letters. We bought the tour the day before, right here, but there was confusion about the operator — it wasn’t clear whether we went with the contracted agency or a third-party. In addition, we had a delay of more than an hour on departure, which I consider a relevant negative point. On the other hand, the guide Juan was excellent — attentive, humorous and knowledgeable of the region, made the experience easier. I recommend the tour, yes, but only for those who have at least intermediate physical conditioning and no cardiological restriction. It’s beautiful, it’s intense — but it’s not for anyone.

We took the tour of the 7 lagoons, and it was amazing. Our tour was conducted by Milton, he supported us from beginning to end, was punctual and very receptive. We were very pleased, I recommend!

The place is fantastic! The Milton guide was amazing. Right now I thanked him for all the support he gave me and my wife. The driver who took us was also very nice. On the tour itself, I recommend preparation because of the Mountain Evil. It is a difficult journey, but very compensatory!

Everything went perfectly well, the van picked us up at the hotel and as we approached the place of the trail, the landscape was getting more and more beautiful. Our guide (Roberto) was super attentive and concerned with us throughout the journey, including taking oxygen if someone needed it. He took a lot of pictures of us along the way. The van driver was also amazing, both very polite. The view of the lagoons was spectacular, one more beautiful than the other and at the bottom the glaciers very close. Take this walk and I know you'll be amazed. The tour included breakfast and lunch. The walking route was about 17km, but, whoever wants, can do it by horse.

The views were spectacular! The guide, Roberto, contributed a lot so that I could have the experience of a trail at 4,800 meters with tranquility; he proved careful, always looking to know how I was feeling, in addition to contributing, also, so that I could experience the way the Incas relate to nature. The trail has wonderful landscapes from beginning to end, the best walk we made in our passage. The guide Roberto told us about his traditions and shared experiences with us. It made the ride even better.

The tour of the 7 Lagunas with the guide Jehomar was wonderful. He is always very attentive, caring and concerned about our well-being. The breakfast and lunch typical of the place was also delicious.
