Onze SF in a Day-tour brengt je naar plaatsen die geen enkele andere San Francisco-tour doet, door de stad per kabelbaan, trein en bus om betoverde tuinen, geheime trappen en glorieuze vergezichten op het dak te bezoeken, wat een onvergetelijke ervaring creëert. Je vermijdt drukte op de toeristische hotspots, terwijl je de cultuur van SF ervaart en zijn geschiedenis leert. We beginnen je tour in de buurt van de Embarcadero en nemen de kabelbaan naar Nob Hill. Van daaruit gaan we naar het stadhuis (of het kabelbaanmuseum) en nadat we naar binnen zijn gegaan, kunnen we een kopje koffie drinken in Hayes Valley. Daarna gaan we naar de Castro en lopen dan door Dolores Park. We eindigen het ochtendgedeelte van de tour in de Haight, het is een geweldige plek om wat te lunchen. Daarna nemen we je mee naar een icoon van San Francisco, de Painted Ladies. Dat wordt gevolgd door een wandeling door een ander SF-pictogram, Lombard Street. We sluiten de tour af met een wandeling door North Beach & Chinatown. Tegen die tijd heb je een fantastische ervaring met SF gehad en heb je een aantal mooie herinneringen gemaakt om mee naar huis te nemen.

I really enjoyed my San Francisco day tour. It was a great way to see so much of the city in a short amount of time, especially as someone visiting and trying to understand the different neighborhoods, history, and culture. The tour was informative, interesting, and gave me a better appreciation for how colorful and unique San Francisco is. I especially enjoyed learning about the Castro, the city’s LGBTQ+ history and the stories connected to different landmarks. The guide shared a lot of details that I probably would not have learned just walking around by myself. It made the city feel more alive and meaningful.
It’s an amazing tour. I loved every minute of it. You really get a feel and knowledge of the city. Be ready to walk up hills, take trolleys, ride the subways. I’m mean it’s an adventure. We saw the whole city. Highly recommend it if you love being active. Tour guide was the best!
We had a really great experience! Jamie was wonderful, very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Very flexible and accommodating. He has some good restaurant recommendations as well and all in all made our trip truly worth it

it's a long day, so folks should be prepared for that some hills and stairs that will need to be climbed. But overall, it was great. Jaime was awesome very informative. Lots of good inside information. It was nice because there was only two of us so we actually had a private tour.

Ashley and I took this tour today, and it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we started at the Embarcadero and worked our way through iconic locations like Nob Hill, the Cable Car Museum, City Hall, Hayes Valley, Mission Dolores Park, The Castro, Haight-Ashbury, the Painted Ladies, Lombard Street, North Beach, and Chinatown, every stop offered something unique and memorable. What truly made this experience exceptional was our guide, Jamie. His knowledge of San Francisco’s history, culture, architecture, and hidden gems was incredible. He brought each location to life with fascinating stories, local insight, and a great sense of humor that kept the entire tour engaging from start to finish. Jamie was personable, professional, and genuinely passionate about the city, which made the experience feel much more personal than a typical sightseeing tour. The pace was perfect, giving us enough time to take photos, explore, and soak in the atmosphere at each stop without ever feeling rushed. We learned so much about San Francisco while seeing many of its most famous landmarks in a single day. If you’re visiting San Francisco and want an outstanding introduction to the city, we highly recommend this tour—and if you’re lucky enough to get Jamie as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience. My family of 11 traveled here from Minnesota to experience a wonderful tour of San Francisco. We ended up leaving after the 2nd stop because the cable cars were not letting us get on, and we were waiting on the side of the street for about 30-40 minutes before giving up and making other plans. Things I wished they mentioned in the details of booking - drinks are not allowed, so if you bring coffee to enjoy for the tour, you will have to throw it away before getting on. If there are people in line for the cable cars at the time of your reservation, you will need to wait in line and potentially catch the next one. There are many personal stories shared that were not SF history, and some untoward comments that we did not appreciate about communities in the bay area. We wanted a group picture, which he took, but first on his phone without our permission (please do not use or post online). As someone that's lived here for 10 years, and has been on many tours, I expected more for the money we spent, and was overall disappointed. We cut our loses, and enjoyed the rest of the day down at Fishermans Wharf.
It's a shame that these guests were disappointed by the tour, we're always striving to give guests a 5 star experience. Unfortunately it seems like there may have been some misplaced expectations. We do point out in the tour details that the cable car service is 150 years old (which is why people want to take it) and can have issues from time to time, all that’s required to navigate them is a little patience and good humor. Equally we recommend getting to the meeting point 15 minutes early for the tour, that way guests are ready to take the first cable car after the start time. Finally, we’d like to point out that these guests dropped out after barely 2 hours, which is totally their prerogative, but since they didn’t do the rest of the tour they didn’t experience the other key elements of it. Maybe it would have blown them away, we’ll never know. However the other guests did give it 5 stars (see the previous review), which just shows that the issues this guest has shared may not have been terminal for the tour after all.
