Memphis was de eerste Egyptische hoofdstad en stamt uit 2900 v.Chr. U kunt de overblijfselen van de oude stad bekijken in het museum, waar het grootste standbeeld van de grote Egyptische koning Ramsis 2 staat, gemaakt van ongeveer 70 ton kalksteen en de tweede grote Sfinx van marmer. Ook zijn er veel overblijfselen van de oude stad te zien.
In Dahshour vindt u 2 van de belangrijkste piramides in Egypte, gebouwd voor koning Senfru, de vader van koning Cheops. Hij bouwde 3 piramides, waarvan 2 voor hem (de Rode en de Gebogen) de diepste piramides in Egypte waren. Ook vindt u hier de eerste koninginpiramides in Egypte, gebouwd voor koningin Hetep, de moeder van koning Cheops.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience thanks to a truly exceptional guide, Omar. Together with his driver they picked us up directly from the hotel super punctual and, at the end of the day, they even drove us to the airport, making everything even more comfortable and carefree. During the tour they took us by car with every comfort, explaining with passion and clarity the history of the site and enriching the story with very interesting details. Careful and considerate, he took many photos and videos that will remain a beautiful memory. A tour with attention to every detail and absolutely recommended!
These 3 sites put together magnificent frescoes still well preserved in the tombs, remains of clearly visible temples, adventurous routes in the tunnels of the different types of pyramids, the statue of Ramses II of considerable size
