Dagtocht naar Cameron Highlands

Anas was a great driver for the day; he showed us all the best highlights of Cameron Highlands. The pacing of the tour was great, with breaks along the way, and lunch timed perfectly. It was a long day, but well worth the trip.

Found KL Starex Transportation courtesy of the reviews here on TripAdvisor. And being kiasu, we actually booked out the transport a month ahead of our trip. Mikael was our host and driver. The pickup from KLIA2 was smooth and easy, with Mikael ready to pick us up from the ehailing gate once we were done with shopping and breakfast from our early morning flight. The Starex itself was extremely comfy and spacious. We had 2 golf bags plus 4 luggages and there was still space remaining for 5 of us to recline our seats for the journey! Mikael was a safe and careful driver especially up the winding 52km stretch of Cameron Highlands which were all single lane roads. Overall we had a wonderful time with KL Starex Transportation, taking Mikael's recommendation for a late afternoon lunch at the rolling hills of Cameron Valley Tea Plantation and a rest stop at the picturesque Lata Iskandar waterfall. Cameron Highlands itself was full of surprises with the newly opened Tokyo Town and Centrum Cameron offering something new. Unfortunately, being the rainy season of Sept, we had days of afternoon rain and had to skip Flora Park. But we did get in a round of golf at Kelab Golf Sultan Ahmad Shah Cameron Highlands. This was a public 18-hole walking course across different elevations, offering views of the surrounding natural forests as well as the various architecture recognisable as Cameron Highlands own. Definitely worth the Trip, and KL Starex Transportation definitely helped us fulfill our holiday goals. Thank you Mikael!

Interesting tour of the agricultural sector of the Cameron Highlands. Our driver would drop us off with brief introductions, but we were free to explore the strawberry farm, tea plantations, waterfall, apiary, and flower farm on our own. Very pleasant experience!

Private tour more like we had a driver instead of a tour guide. Wish they could’ve given more verbal explanation of history of the places and around areas we were going. Got dropped off each location and we were on our own. Tea plantations were great. Lavender field was a joke so we skipped strawberry picking…over all it’s way too expensive and prepare to get sick on the zig zag way to the highlands.

We booked a private tour from Cameron Highlands to KL. Communication in advance is clear. The guide Nadz is friendly and flexible. Everything went on smoothly as planned. Highly recommend to those who are looking for a tour in Cameron Highlands.

Beware!! Don’t do this if you don’t want to go to all the places and have nothing included. Find another tour!!

Our tour started off okay. We drove and did an activity we knew wasn’t included. We took lots of photos. But felt uncomfortable when the tour guide took photos on her personal phone. Lunch was supposed to be included and we ended up paying for it. A lot of the places we didn’t go to. Our tour guide didn’t tell us about any of the places we went to our the background and just told us to explore on our own so I didn’t learn anything that I was hoping to get out of a tour.

The Cameron Highlands are worth a trip!We felt very safe at Mikael and he is very friendly!You have enough time to see everything!The ride with the little buggy to a tea plantation was a lot of fun.The landscape is very beautiful and it is interesting how the tea is grown!You have a large selection of tea, which is also available there for purchase.

Michael is a very good driver. With honest Awards, he drives carefully, always on time, very patient with children. We went to Cameron Island with him to Georgetown and Malacca as well as other transfers closer to Kuala Lumpur Tours. He is very honest, I strongly advise you to go directly through him. Moreover, it is very responsive. European mentality in the way it works and that’s great!
