Cusco Rainbow Mountain met lunchbuffet en Red Valley Optioneel

Montaña de Colores, ook bekend als Vinicunca of Rainbow Mountain, is een prachtig natuurlijk landschap in de Peruaanse Andes, beroemd om zijn lagen van levendige kleuren, gecreëerd door mineralen en sedimenten. Een unieke bestemming die spectaculaire uitzichten en een onvergetelijke ervaring biedt.

Beginnend met de pick-up van de hotels gelegen nabij het historische centrum van Cusco, tussen 4 : 00 - 5 : 00 uur 's ochtends, zullen we ongeveer 2 uur ten zuiden van Cusco reizen. De stad Cusipata zal onze eerste stop zijn waar u een heerlijk ontbijt krijgt en tijd om de toiletten te gebruiken. Trekking. Daarna gaan we nog ongeveer 45 minuten langs de weg naar de parkeerplaats tot we de basis bereiken, vanwaar we de wandeling starten, onze Gids zal ons de nodige instructies geven om van de tour te genieten.
Daarna hebben we een wandeling van ongeveer 2 uur om de 7 Colors Mountain te bereiken, bij aankomst hebben we de uitleg van de Gids, genoeg tijd om foto's te maken en een groot deel van de plaats te bezoeken.
Vervolgens wandelen we ongeveer 30 minuten door de Rode Vallei (optioneel : als de passagier dat wenst, kan hij/zij op eigen houtje naar een uitzichtpunt met een spectaculair uitzicht op een keten van kleurrijke bergen).
Na de rondleiding keren we terug naar het voertuig, dan keren we terug naar onze eerste stop in Cusipata waar we een lunchbuffet hebben en dan keren we terug naar de stad Cusco (ongeveer tijd van aankomst 17:30 uur).

When we finally got to rainbow mountain we’re told that you can’t even see it do to snow. An hour later the guide came back to us and said the snow is melting and we could ride the horses to get there quicker. We rode the horses mine got spooked and threw me. The actual guide was very nice tried to help clean me off and stuff and helped me back on the horses. I did not make it up there as the pain had started to kick in. When we got back to the bottom I still had to pay the full price for the horse. The guide did offer me ibuprofen because at this point I was having a hard time to even walk. He also suggested to go to a clinic. I am a little upset as when you were slipping and sliding to get to the top to see rainbow mountain there were hardly any colors (my husband made the climb up)
