Als u in Cusco bent, kunt u de prachtige kathedraal niet missen en beginnen met het verkennen van deze prachtige werelderfgoed-kerk, gelegen in het hart van de Plaza de Armas.

De kathedraal is gelegen aan de Plaza de Armas. De bouw werd voltooid in 1654, bijna honderd jaar nadat de bouw begon. Het altaar heeft gedraaide barokke zuilen en in het onderste centrale deel bevat het een doek van een gekruisigde Jezus Christus dat werd toegeschreven aan de Vlaamse schilder Van Dyck. Ernstige studies toonden echter aan dat het een canvas van de Cusqueniaanse School is waardoor de auteur anoniem is. Zoals in veel kunstwerken van hetzelfde type is dat geen perfect schilderij, omdat het lichaam van Christus niet van een man lijkt te zijn maar dat van een vrouw vanwege de uitgestoken heupen, benen, buik en vleesconsistentie; misschien werd een vrouw als model gebruikt, anders was dat de manier waarop de Quechua-kunstenaar Jezus Christus zag.

The cathedral was worth visiting. A visit will take about an hour. No need to pre buy tickets (at a premium) as there was no line and few people in the cathedral. Buy tickets at the cathedral entrance.
Great experience. Was easy to get the tickets and they were waiting for us at the hotel saving us a lot of time. This service offers good convenience, especially if you want to make most of your day. The cathedral was great and had English so you can learn as you go through.
I didn't go on this as IT IS NOT A TOUR! They took my money and did not refund when I discovered that it did not include a tour. The fee was MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE REAL ENTRANCE FEE WITHOUT A TOUR!

This is clearly stated in the inclussions and exclussions section. I chatted with you on Whastapp, after you questioned abut the price, I explained you about the inclussions and exclussions where looks you forgot to read AND I SUGGESTED YOU TO CANCEL THE SERVICES SO YOU CAN FEEL FREE TO ARRANGE A DIFFERENT OPTION FOR THAT REASON WE DID NOT DELIVER THE TICKET. our goal is have happy travellers, The mony should be in your accound as local company/supplier we are not holding your money. This is the reason of your negative review: The price difference is the service fee (the real price if you go to the ticketing office (no online option) is 40 peruvian sol = us$ 12 and in the website is listed for US$ 16 (56 peruvian sol). I think is not fair your review specially when our terms are clear where you should read before purchase and I even suggest you to cancel the service to get back the money you paid to avoid any problems.
