Reisroute

Fantastic tour, Kazu an excellent tour guide with fantastic amount of knowledge and it was a whole lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. Fantastic. Great job.!
My tour guide Miyake was very informative on the history of Japan, and a very nice and friendly person. I would recommend this tour if you want a quick full view of the principal places of Kyoto
I had a great experience with Miyake! He was knowledgeable, fun and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour and you will be very lucky if you get Miyake as your tour guide!
Ko was our guide and he did a great job. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated all the information about the sites we were seeing. He was willing to answer all of our questions, even those not relating to the tour. He was able to provide recommendations not only for Kyoto but Osaka as well. He seemed to really enjoy what he was doing and that made the tour even better. Our first stop was Tofuku-ji Temple. We were delighted to have such great explanations of each part. A highlight was Fushimi-Inari. You definitely don't want to miss going here. Again we were appreciative of all the information given by Ko, He also gave us breaks and short free time for checking out shops, food, etc. We ended in the Gion District. We definitely would never had known so much about this area without our guide! Great tour and it was helpful that it is in the afternoon as we arrived late the night before. We would definitely recommend this.
Our Flight Arrived to Japan late and we were still able to make the tour. We met up along the way and joined in. Our guide was great and very informative with what we were seeing. We loved getting to walk through the small areas and eat the food along the way.
I enjoyed this tour, and I think you will too! Veronica, our guide, was perfect for this walking tour. There is a fair bit of walking, but she filled the time with historical and modern context for the various sights. Not only did she show us some awesome sights, she helped us appreciate them through her in depth knowledge. To top it all off, she was a fantastic photographer, helping my wife and me capture some great shots! The itinerary was solid and helped us “check off” some of the must do items in Kyoto. The guide made it a great experience. Thank you Veronica!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write reviews 5 stars, andrewlearnseedo! We are happy to hear that you had a nice time with Veronica! We will deliver your comment to her and she would also be happy to hear that! We are hoping to see you again next time when you visit to Kyoto! Thanks a lot, Masami
Kyoto is a confusing place - what with all the temples and shrines, it is difficult to take it all in and understand what you are looking at. Which is why I really appreciated Miyake’s guiding light and thorough explanations of all that you are seeing. We went first to the Tofuku-Ji Temple and gardens and Miyake walked us through the history, purpose and significance of each building, all of which you don’t get from a few paragraphs in your guide book. Then off to Fushimi-Inari which is dazzling in its colors and wonderful people watching and smells from the food stands. We were fortunate to get some pictures of the torii gates with NO other people in the shots! We rounded off the afternoon with a walking tour of the Gion geisha neighborhood with its picturesque alleys, cafes and shops. Miyake was a wonderful guide who even shared some matcha cookies with us - what a treat! I highly recommend.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write your fantastic review, maggie44113! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour with Miyake. He is the one of our knowledge guide and hope the tour helped you to understand Japanese culture in depth. You are very lucky that you could take photos at Torii gate without people! Thanks again for booking our tour and hope to see you again sometime in the future! Regards, Masami
Our guide Fumiko was wonderful and we highly recommend her she was very patient and happy to answering our endless questions about religion, culture and the significance of anything we saw on the tour ! Her answers were very informative and she even gave us suggestions of where to eat after the tour and it was delicious ! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to understand more about the culture and spiritual beliefs of japan!
Thank you for your review, SunshineMNL! Kyoto is a full of history, culture, tradition, and modern society which are all well integrated and those aspects make this city unique and attractive! There are also captivating cultural and historical assets which sometimes you need a local guide to instruct them. Hope you had a good time with our guide, Fumiko and we will pass on your lovely comment to her! Once again, thank you for booking our tour and hope to see you again soon sometime in the future! Thank you, Kinya
Our tour guide Fumiko was very informative and nice. She took us to Toufukuji temple, Fushimi inari shrine, and the geisha district. A lot of history and information that I definitely would not have gotten by visiting on my own. It is a lot of walking, but at an easy pace. She provides the tickets for all the subway transfers. I would definitely recommend this tour while in Kyoto.
Thank you amandal0709 for your great review. We hope you learnt a lot about culture and history of Kyoto, and most of all, you had a great time with our guide Fumiko. Kyoto has a lot more to offer, so please come back and see us again! Thanks and regards, Hiroko
This was our first trip to Kyoto and before coming, we did not know much of the history of the region. Our tour guide was Michael who was fabulous. He has the 3 Hs you want in a tour guide which is history, humor, and honesty. The small group makes it easier to ask questions and get a better understanding of what you are looking at. We are leaving Kyoto much more informed than we expected. Thanks again Michael for such a memorable cultural experience.
