Eerst wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel en na ongeveer 1,5 uur bereikt u de Cu Chi-tunnels. Bij aankomst krijgt u door middel van een korte video een inleiding over hoe de Cu Chi-tunnels zijn gemaakt en hoe het Vietnamese volk de ontberingen tijdens de oorlog heeft doorstaan. Ontdek het resterende gebied en een deel van het tunnelnetwerk met speciale woonruimtes – keukens en slaapkamers naast elkaar, en krijgsinrichtingen – wapenfabrieken, opslagplaatsen, commandocentra en veldhospitalen. Leer bovendien over gevaarlijke vallen en verborgen valluiken in de doolhofachtige tunnels voor de veiligheid van de guerrillastrijders in oorlogstijd. Interessant is dat je speciale thee en cassave proeft, wat ooit het dagelijkse voedsel was van de voormalige Vietnamese guerrilla's.
Lunch in een lokaal restaurant en bezoek daarna de stad My Tho. Maak een ontspannen cruise langs de Tien-rivier. Breng daarna een bezoek aan een kokossnoepmolen, een familiebedrijf, en laat u vervolgens door de kleine grachten door houten sampans meenemen om de aangename sfeer van het rivierengebied op te snuiven. Proef seizoensfruit, neem een slok honingthee en krijg een gevoel van Zuid-Vietnamese volksmuziek door middel van muziek uitgevoerd door de lokale bevolking. Je keert rond 19:00 uur terug naar Ho Chi Minh-stad.

My friends and I had an amazing time on this tour! Even though it rained, everything still went smoothly, and we enjoyed every moment. A special shoutout to our guide, Noah, whose nonstop energy, cheerful personality, and constant smile made the entire experience so much fun. He took good care of everyone and made the tour even more memorable despite the weather. I highly recommend this tour, and I'll definitely be coming back with my parents and relatives in the future!
We had a beatiful experience if not because of our tour guide. When we visited, it was a bit of a bad weather but somehow the tour ended really well because of Noah’s contagious energy! It also helped that the group of people we are with are all nice and sociable so it was a good experience overall! Just note to do your own research so you can bring what you need to bring like water, insect repellant, sunglasses, blanket coz it can get very cold during the trip at the van esp when its raining.
