Het Cu Chi Tunnel systeem strekte zich ooit uit over een groot gebied buiten Ho Chi Minh Stad. 7.00 uur: + Vertrek vanuit het hotel vanuit Ho Chi Minh om bij de Cu Chi-tunnels te komen, ooit "de ijzeren driehoek" genoemd. De tunnels zijn ontworpen door lokale guerrillastrijders als een "springplank voor het aanvallen van Saigon". Het gebied werd gebruikt voor het infiltreren van Saigon-inlichtingenagenten, deels kaderleden en sabotageteams. De tunnels werden gebruikt door Vietcong-guerrilla's als schuilplaatsen tijdens gevechten, maar ook als communicatie- en bevoorradingsroutes voor ziekenhuizen, voedsel, wapenopslagplaatsen en als woonruimte voor talrijke guerrillastrijders. Het meest interessante deel van deze tour is het ontdekken van tunnels. Je kunt door tunnels gaan om meer te weten te komen over het leven van de VC en guerrillastrijders. Probeer wat VC's eten en wat thee om te ontspannen. Eindig de Cu Chi-reis.
Nadat we de tunnels hebben gezien, gaan we naar de Cao Dai-tempel. Cao Dai Holy See – gelegen in de provincie Tay Ninh. Cao Daiism, een relatief nieuwe religie die in 1926 in het zuiden van Vietnam werd opgericht, heeft meer dan 2,5 miljoen volgers in het hele land en daarbuiten aangetrokken. Het is in feite een combinatie van taoïsme, boeddhisme en confucianisme, met voor de goede orde wat christendom en islam erbij. De hiërarchie lijkt sterk op de rooms-katholieke kerk en het kleurenschema lijkt rechtstreeks uit een hindoetempel te komen. De filosofie van de religie past heel goed in de huidige religieuze onrust in de wereld.
Na de lunch gaat u met de kabelbaan naar Ba Den - de Zwarte Maagd-berg. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en u wordt aan beide kanten omringd door mangobomen en bosbloemen. De kabelbaan brengt ons naar de top van de berg, die 986 meter hoog is. We bezoeken de luchttuin en het hoogste Boeddhabeeld in Vietnam.

I traveled with my husband and brother and had a great time! Phong was very informed and had a great sense of humor. He also took the liberty of making slight rearrangements to our schedule to accommodate the heavy traffic that would happen since it was Buddha’s birthday. He gave us ample time to see everything and didn’t rush through anything. We got back at around 6:30 pm as promised. Overall a very comfortable trip! There quite a bit of walking so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone that has mobility limitations.
Great Guide. Nui Ba Dinh was amazing. Our driver was safe and quick. The meeting place was easy to find and the driver and guide were perfectly on time.

We are a family of four and chose this tour because it was our second time traveling with this company. We were once again thrilled with our choice. The tour was quite long, a full day, but it was definitely worth it. The scenery from the top of the mountain, with the flower garden and Buddha statue, was stunning. Lunch was excellent, with vegetarian options as requested. The highlight of the tour was definitely the tunnels. We had an amazing time as a family. Five stars for everything!

I contracted the service through Tripadvisor, paid in advance, but about a week before I received a cancellation message from the operator, saying it was a very busy time of year, and therefore they would not be able to assist me. On the one hand, I thank them for canceling early enough so that I could hire another operator relatively in advance, however, they should not have left the date available for scheduling (and especially payment), for a day when they were not going to carry out the activity.

Our guide Phat was absolutely amazing!! We had such a great day. Everything that was listed was included and Phat was so informative. We visited a lacquer facility that had those affected by agent orange doing the artwork. We then went to the Cao Dai Temple and were able to watch them worshiping. After that we had a fantastic lunch then we headed to the mountain. We even stopped for coffee on the way to the temple at our request. The day was perfect we are so glad we booked the tour.
