Tijdens deze ochtend- of middagtour door Cu Chi-tunnels van een halve dag zie je het Cu Chi-complex met zijn netwerk van tunnels en vallen en leer je hoe de samenleving ondergronds functioneerde in tijden van oorlog. U kunt ook uw hand proberen op de schietbaan met een AK - 47

Rond 8:00 uur of 12:00 uur. Begin met ophalen van het centrum van Ho Chi Minh City of ontmoet elkaar bij het verzamelpunt en vertrek naar Cu Chi Tunnels. Na 2 uur rijden komen we aan bij de Tunnels waar u de mogelijkheid heeft om het tunnelsysteem te verkennen, dat smalle doorgangen, verborgen ingangen en ondergrondse kamers omvat. Leer over het dagelijks leven van de Cu Chi guerrillastrijders en hoe ze wisten te overleven in de tunnels. Je kunt afstanden kruipen door de tunnels die tijdens de Vietnamoorlog door de guerrillastrijders werden gebruikt. U kunt keukens, woonruimtes, onder andere gebruikt tijdens de oorlog zien. Meer informatie over hoe verschillende typen vallen zijn gemaakt en ingesteld. Bezoek de wapenkamers en leer hoe de ingenieuze soldaten ze maakten. Ook op de schietbaan kunt u met een AK - 47 veilig uw hand proberen.
Na de verkenning reizen we terug naar Ho Chi Minh City. Aankomst ongeveer om 15u30 voor de ochtendtour en 19u00 voor de middagtour.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Pick-up wordt aangeboden van hotels in District 1 (met uitzondering van TanDinh en Dakao gebieden). Indien u in een ander district verblijft, verzoeken wij u vriendelijk naar het verzamelpunt (ons kantoor) te gaan op : Ly Tu Trongstraat 123, District 1 om 8:15 uur voor de ochtendtour of 12:00 uur voor de middagtour.

Very cool tour to the Ch Chi tunnels. Wish we had seen this before going to the war museum. Tuen was a super knowledgeable guide who certainly puts his training in the Vietnamese army to good use 😂. He runs a tight ship that alternates between keeping us on track to real personal first hand accounts of what happened during the war and a mix of humour. He shocked us with his age lol, I be happy if Im going that well, although at times some of our group struggled to understand him. Tunnels are way tighter than you expect but definitely do able although perhaps dont wear your best or white clothes. Really worthwhile tour and a day well spent.
Dat was an excellent guide to the Cu Chi Tunnels. He was responsive, punctual, accommodating and engaging especially to our group, which had a lot of questions about the Vietnam War and the context surrounding the creation and living condition in the tunnels. We travelled with two seniors and a toddler and they absolutely loved the experience!
We were picked up at the hotel in HCMC at 8am and dropped off again at 2pm embedded neighborhood, top arranged! The tour was incredibly impressive, but lighthearted and interactive. During the tour you can try to enter a tunnel through a small entrance and you can even walk or crawl through 100 meters of tunnel (optional). Our tour guide (Dat) took us into the history of and life around the tunnels in a smooth and narrative way. Highly recommended if you are in HCMC and have time!
It was such a great exprience visiting the tunnels and learning about the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese people during the war. Our guide was both funny and helpful, making the day both educational and awareness building. We loved the time taken to make sure everyone had opportunities to exprience the inside of a tunnel and also feel what it was like being in the jungle. Our stop for lunch was needed and absolutely delicious local cuisine that as t expensive.
Steven was a lovely guide,who happily explained the features of the tunnels. The bus was very comfortable.
Good tour, just 2 many groups at the venue. I would look for the tour at the Ben Dinh Tunnel, over the Ben Douc Tunnels. Apart from that our guide Phu was great
My family and I really enjoyed the experience. Tuan was a great guide and was extremely knowledgable.
