Een van de meest epische DH-ritten in Ecuador, doe mee en ontdek buiten de gebaande paden, maak plezier in het gezelschap van lokale rijders met het meest geweldige uitzicht op Cotopaxi.

Nadat we je hebben opgehaald, rijden we ten zuiden van de stad Quito, langs de Pan-Amerikaanse snelweg, op heldere dagen is het een zeer mooie rit met een prachtig uitzicht op verschillende vulkanen, zodra we bij de ingang van het park aankomen, heb je weinig minuten om de faciliteiten te gebruiken en wat cocathee te drinken. Later rijden we het reservaat in tot aan de Parqueadero op 15.000 voet. De Cotopaxi-vulkaan met meer dan 19.000 voet is de hoogste actieve vulkaan in Ecuador en wordt omringd door een aantal spectaculaire landschappen van valleien en andere vulkanen. Onze eerste DH-rit zal langs THE HOLY RIDGE trail zijn, het eerste deel zou over zandig vulkanisch materiaal en steil pad zijn, later vervolgen we de single track op enkele rotsen en dan de heidevelden vol gras, met een beetje geluk kunnen we wilde paarden spotten en de majestueuze Andescondor. We doen normaal gesproken 2 of 3 ritten, afhankelijk van je fysieke conditie en het weer. In de late namiddag keren we terug naar Quito.

Nice guides! Jose and Ali were awesome We had a Blast! The view and the trip was good. You need to be a good mountain biker.
It turned out we didn't ride in Cotopaxi as the trails were closed. As a result we rode some cool trails in Quito. Jose was an excellent guide and took us on some super cool trails. He also provided lunch for the group at his ranch which was a fun experience and delicious food. Great day. Highly recommend the trip!

Great ride. Guide (Oscar) was very good - knowledgeable of area, good with a not so good rider, and went with whatever I wanted to do. The area was incredible even if I did fall a bunch. Had a blast, learned some things, great pics (weather turned out for us), good lunch and another fun experience in Ecuador. Looking forward to coming back!

Oscar was an outstanding guide, beautiful landscape, partly technical challenging MTB downhills. Great equipment and breathtaking Trails. Highly recommended for experienced MTBer.

My father and I had a blast at this tour. Chris took us perfectly step by step through the trails, so my father who isn't a downhiller found a good pace for himself. As I was traveling with my family, they took care of my mother, who would be alone otherwise. So we all 3 could expierience Cotopaxi differently, but at the same time. Tbh. the price seems high, but bike, gear, shuttle, a great guide, fotos and a final cerveza are included ;)

In my group we were all pretty avid mountain bikers and I wasn't sure what to expect going into this. I couldn't have been happier with what we got. The mountain biking was super fun, challenging, and the type of experience you can't get anywhere else. We were all happy with the full suspension Trek, Marin and even one Yeti. The guides fit right in with our group and were fun to ride with while at the same time prepping us for the next section and keeping us safe. I would highly recommend this activity while in Ecuador.

Great views and chance to experience the environment around Cotopaxi from a different perspective. Our very experienced guide Christian was excellent, provided not only proactive advice on riding and safety but geared the trip to our level and provided great insight into the local environment, plants , history and wildlife along the way. Equipment was top notch and well maintained. Fluent English made communication easy . Great box lunch. Our teens loved this trip. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a more active way to see Cotopaxi.

Amazing trip!! My family loves mountain biking and this tour was perfect for it. We had amazing views of Cotopaxi and it was perfect for all different abilities. Chris is a great guide and for anyone thinking about seeing Cotopaxi, I would 1000% recommend this tour!
