Het Plein van de Republiek (Servisch: Trg Republike) is een van de centrale stadspleinen en een stadswijk van Belgrado. Onze gidsen laten toeristen kennismaken met het verhaal van de fenomenen van Josip Broz Tito, „Jeugdestafettestokje“, Niet-gebonden beweging, conflicten van de jaren negentig, NAVO-bombardementen op Servië en Montenegro in 1999 en democratische veranderingen aan het begin van het derde millennium.
Dom Sindikata ("Vakbondszaal") is een enorm gebouw, gebouwd in de stijl van het socialistisch realisme. Het werd ontworpen door Branko Petričić en de bouw begon in 1947.
Het Huis van de Nationale Vergadering van de Republiek Servië is de zetel van de Nationale Vergadering van Servië. Het gebouw is gelegen aan het Nikola Pašić-plein in het centrum van Belgrado en is een herkenningspunt en toeristische attractie. Tussen de voltooiing in 1936 en 2006 was het de zetel van het parlement van Joegoslavië en het parlement van Servië en Montenegro.
De Kneza Miloša-straat was de korzo (promenade) van de belangrijkste stad en is tegenwoordig een van de belangrijkste verkeersaders van de stad, de locatie van enkele van de belangrijkste nationale instellingen en een straat met het grootste aantal ambassades in Belgrado.
Het gebouw van het Joegoslavische Ministerie van Defensie, ook wel bekend als de Joegoslavische Generale Staf, is een gebouw dat voorheen werd bewoond door het Ministerie van Defensie van Joegoslavië, een overheidsafdeling die verantwoordelijk is voor de verdediging van de Federale Republiek Joegoslavië tegen interne en externe militaire bedreigingen. Beschouwd als een meesterwerk van naoorlogse architectuur, werd het gebombardeerd en zwaar beschadigd tijdens het NAVO-bombardement op Joegoslavië in 1999.
Van het Generalsab-gebouw naar het Museum van Joegoslavië neemt de groep de trolleybus (de rit duurt ongeveer 15 minuten). Het Museum van Joegoslavië is een openbaar historisch museum in Belgrado, de hoofdstad van Servië. Het beschrijft de periode van het koninkrijk Joegoslavië en het socialistische Joegoslavië, evenals het leven van Josip Broz Tito. Het graf van Tito bevindt zich in een van de museumgebouwen (het Bloemenhuis). Met 120.000 bezoekers per jaar is het het meest bezochte museum in Servië.

Milan (34) is an excellent guide who knew the answer to every question. His heart beats with the spirit of three former Yugoslav countries, and he experienced the war as a seven-year-old. Tears briefly came to my eyes in this situation. The tour with Milan lasted almost 4.5 hours and offered a great value for the price. The free public bus took us to the Yugoslavia Museum and back to the Parliament building and Hotel Moscow, where one can enjoy the Moscow sandwich and the ambiance in the café afterwards.

We were disappointed not to visit the other items on the itinerary, just the Museum of Yugoslavia, but it was otherwise very interesting. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to gear the tour towards our interests, which include more recent history of Yugoslavia. It was extremely cold (nothing anyone could do about that of course!) but we found standing in the outdoors for long periods was quite difficult.
Michael was very empassioned and knowledgeable! He brought the information to life. He was also knowledgeable about the transit system.
We took this tour our very first day in Belgrade. Nemenja was an extremely knowledgeable and engaging guide. He pointed out some great "off the beaten path" sites not related to the tour topic which was greatly appreciated. As a history professor, he was able to provide a lot of context about Serbian and Yugolavian history, and it set the perfect tone for our trip. While one could visit the Museum of Yugoslavia on one's own, going with Nemenja was a very useful value added to our trip.
The tour was over three hours long and great value for money. Milan was a superb guide who always gave a full answer to questions and has some great food recommendations as well

This tour contains a highly competent and sympathetic tour guide, interesting stops and lots of new things to learn. If you have very little knowledge about Yugoslavia, I would recommend this tour.
