De touringcar verlaat het hart van Union Square en rijdt naar de Golden Gate Bridge. Op weg naar de Golden Gate Bridge zien reizigers: Union Square: theaters, winkels, hotels
We banen ons een weg naar het noorden op Van Ness Avenue. Beroemd omdat het werd gebruikt als brandgang door het Amerikaanse leger tijdens de aardbeving en brand in 1906.
Twee welvarende buurten die jonge professionals aantrekken. Chique modeboetieks, pilatesstudio's, sapwinkels, schoonheidssalons. Veel uitstekende restaurants, variërend van Franse bistro's tot Amerikaanse fusiongerechten.
Ontworpen door Bernard Misschienck voor de Wereldtentoonstelling van 1915. Deze 40 meter hoge open rotonde verschijnt als een Grieks-Romeins geïnspireerde fictieve ruïne. Stap uit de bus en verken de structuur en de lagune.
Stop bij de Golden Gate Bridge om te genieten van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op deze iconische bezienswaardigheid. Maak memorabele foto's van dit technische wonder en geniet van de frisse kustbries.
Voormalig militair fort van het Amerikaanse leger, park van 1500 hectare. Home naar; Baker Beach, wandelen, historische gebouwen huisvesten het Walt Disney Family Museum, eetgelegenheden, huizen en bedrijven zoals Lucasfilm, met zijn Yoda-fontein.
Mooie kuststop bij Ocean Beach met ruige kliffen, cipressenbossen en uitzicht op de Golden Gate Bridge, de Stille Oceaan, de ruïnes van Sutro Bath en het Cliff House.
Als we Golden Gate Park vanuit het westen binnenkomen, passeren we een van de twee Nederlandse windmolens. Tijdens de rit door het park wijst de chauffeur alle aandachtspunten aan; Bison Paddock, Japanese Tea Gardens, California Academy of Science, Conservatory of Flowers.
Reizigers zullen zien waar de hippiebeweging begon tijdens de Summer of Love. Ongewone winkels, unieke restaurants en live-entertainment.

Onder de wolkenkrabbers die de skyline domineren (Transamerica Pyramid, Salesforce Tower), is er een schat aan technologiebedrijven en Fortune 500-bedrijven.
Als reizigers onder de "Drakenpoort" van Chinatown doorgaan, komen reizigers in een bruisend handelsdistrict vol kleur.

- Alcatraz-reserveringen zijn wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt, alle reserveringen worden afgerond (5) dagen voor uw vertrekdatum. Geen restitutie of wijzigingen toegestaan na deze datum.
- Je moet voor- en achternamen opgeven, samen met de leeftijden van alle passagiers om je reservering te bevestigen. Als u om welke reden dan ook deze informatie niet binnen het beschikbare tijdvenster verstrekt, zal uw Alcatraz-tour worden verbeurd.
- Datumwijzigingen zijn niet toegestaan nadat de bevestiging is ontvangen
- Het Alcatraz-gedeelte duurt meestal 2,5 uur, met een audiotour van ongeveer 45 minuten. U wordt geadviseerd om bij aankomst op het eiland te informeren hoe laat de volgende rondleiding begint. Er is geen beperking op de hoeveelheid tijd die u op het eiland doorbrengt. De veerboot vertrekt elke 30 minuten vanuit Alcatraz en u kunt op uw gemak van boord gaan
- Pier 33 is de laatste halte en beëindigt het busvervoergedeelte van de tour. Klanten zullen na Alcatraz hun eigen weg terug moeten vinden naar hun gewenste bestemmingen.
- Er zijn stops met fotomomenten bij: Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Twin Peaks, Land's End Ocean Beach (Sutro Baths) & Mission San Francisco de Asis (Mission district).

The city part of the tour was canceled due to lack of participants. But the Alcatraz portion was still on schedule. That tour was not refundable, as the other portion was refunded. I enjoyed the Alcatraz tour very much. Could have scheduled it separately. There are many hop on hop off tours companies operating in the city - so you could easily book these trips separately.

City tour had time problems. My friends and I were picked up last so every stop we had about 15 minutes total time and then back to the bus. Reality was by the time people exited the bus there was no time for the attraction. Michelle stood at the front of the bus and answered questions so that left us at the back of the bus no time to explore. I think more time is needed and she should exit the bus and field questions at the attraction. We got no time at The Place of Art

It was bad experience, not recommended at all you can find something best and cheaper than this!! The organizer wasn’t share the correct information about location, be careful!!!

We loved it, and it could have been even better had my group of 3 had seats together. All 3 of us were in a separate place on the tour bus, because it was not assigned seating in any way.

Overall, an anverage experience. Enjoyed learning about San Fran and Alcatraz! Unfortunately, our tour guide was 30 min late as we all waited for her on the bus. Never apologized or made mention as to why she was late. Also, we had prepaid tix for Alcatraz and were told to check in at Will Call. Had to wait 30 min in line and barely made the ferry for Alcatraz tour!
