De volledige dagervaring door de Heilige Vallei van de Inca's is een dagtour die alle vier de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden van de Heilige Vallei in één dag bezoekt: Pisac, Maras, Moray en Ollantaytambo. De eerste stop van de dag is Pisac, waar je het beroemde Pisac bezoekt en in contact komt met de lokale cultuur, en de ruïnes van Pisac, beroemd om de Inca-terrassen en een oude Inca-begraafplaats. De volgende stop is Moray, het landbouwlaboratorium van de Inca's, beroemd om de ronde terrassen, en de verbazingwekkende Maras-zoutmijnen met meer dan 3000 natuurlijke zoutpoelen. Na een lunchstop in Urubamba voordat we naar onze eindbestemming gaan: Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo staat bekend als een van de laatste ‘levende testamenten’ van de Inca’s in Peru, omdat het gebouwd is op de fundamenten en fundamenten van de Inca’s. Het Inca-irrigatiesysteem werkt nog steeds en het water stroomt door stenen kanalen aan de zijkanten van de straten.

we halen je vroeg in de ochtend tussen 06.30 en 07.00 uur op van je hotel in het centrum van Cusco en je gids zal je uitleggen wat je deze dag gaat bezoeken Reistijd is inbegrepen in de duur van deze attractie.
De eerste stop van de dag is Pisac waar u het beroemde Pisac bezoekt en in contact komt met de lokale cultuur, en de Ruïnes van Pisac die beroemd zijn om de inca-terrassen en een oude inca-begraafplaats die we ongeveer zullen doorbrengen.
We maken een stop voor optionele lokale handwerkwinkels.
Daarna vervolgen we de reis naar het district Maras – Moray. Moray bestaat uit drie amfitheaterachtige terrassen gemaakt door de Inca's. Deze terrassen, die diep in de aarde zijn uitgehouwen in de vorm van een bassin, worden verondersteld te zijn gebruikt als een landbouwlaboratorium om de optimale omstandigheden voor de teelt van gewassen te bepalen.
Na het verkennen van Moray gaat u naar de zoutmijnen van Maras, die op slechts 3 km afstand liggen. Maras dateert uit de koloniale tijd en werd beschouwd als een zoutproducerend centrum. In de berghelling zijn meer dan 3000 zoutpoelen uitgehouwen, die dagelijks met een druppeltje water worden gevuld. Zodra het water verdampt, laat het een schitterend mozaïek van zout achter.
Daarna vervolgen we de reis naar de provincie Urubamba voor de lunch in een lokaal restaurant waar we zullen genieten van een heerlijk Andes eten. (Deze maaltijd is inbegrepen in de tour).
Na de lunch gaan we verder met ons avontuur in de Valley. We rijden langs de Urubamba rivier richting de stad Ollantaytambo. We bezoeken de ruïnes zodra we Ollantaytambo bereiken. Deze site belicht de opmerkelijke Inca architectuur die werd gebouwd tijdens de hoogtijdagen van de Inca's. Dit is een buitengewone Inca site en naast de ruïnes, ziet u een geweldige rotsformatie die de Inca God Wiracocha vertegenwoordigt. U kunt uw reis hier rond 16.00 uur beëindigen of u kunt terugkeren naar Cusco, waar u rond 18.00 uur weer aankomt, afhankelijk van het verkeer.

Amazing experience! We saw so many incredible things. Our guides timed everything perfectly to avoid crowds at each location we stopped. This is a wonderful tour and teaches a lot about Peru.
This Sacred Valley tour was one of the best experiences of our trip to Peru! Starting from Ollantaytambo, we visited Pisac, Moray, the Maras Salt Mines, and Chinchero. Every destination was unique, beautiful, and full of fascinating history. Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. He explained the history, culture, agriculture, and engineering of the Inca civilization in a way that was easy to understand and made every site come alive. We especially appreciated that he took the time to answer questions and never rushed the group. The transportation was comfortable, well organized, and punctual. The itinerary was well planned, giving us enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. A big thank you to our guide and driver for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent service. They made this a smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Peru. It offers the perfect combination of stunning landscapes, rich history, and authentic cultural experiences. Five stars!

I really did not enjoy this tour at all. It became obvious very early on that most of the day was going to be wasted on unwanted, time-consuming shopping visits. We were hurried around the archaeological sites with almost no time to appreciate them, given only a few minutes before being hurried along, but forced to spend 1/2 hour blocks at an Alpaca farm / shopping outlet, a silver shop, etc. I honestly just wanted to leave after the second shopping stop. This is not what I am interested in at all. Complete waste of time and money. I will complain to Viator about this, as it was the worst experience I had in Peru.
I had a wonderful experience! Juan was a great guide and provided loads of knowledge about the history and culture. The small group size was perfect. We had plenty of time to take lots of photos as well as explore the sites.
This was a very nice tour. We were able to see some of the highlights of the sacred valley . We also enjoyed the option to end the trip in ollantaytambo, as that’s where we were staying for the night.
Overall, we had a very good experience! Our tour guide Jhonnatan was incredibly knowledgeable of all the sites and the history behind each location. We did not have the greatest physical fitness or altitude adjustment, but we’re able to make it through the entire tour with the patience and understanding of Jhonnatan. Would highly recommend this tour. We were two families, seven total people, including three children aged 8 to 9.
It was very nice to visit the locations and learn more about the culture of the Incas. The guide Juan speaks 5 languages (including Portuguese) and gave us very detailed explanations of the places we visited.
Humberto was such an enthusiastic and informative guide ~ we learned so much! He even used space on his camera to take photos and add them to the group chat. We were grateful the tour team allowed us to bring our luggage since we were stopping and staying in Ollantaytambo. They even dropped us off at a different hotel location than our original pick-up. Things you should know: • bring water • bring cash • bring sunscreen and apply it regularly • bring a light jacket for rainy season or simply to use as a protect and against the sun • bring a small snack ~ you won't eat lunch until around 14:00 • bring hand sanitizer • bring a small pack of tissues (females, to use as toilet paper) • bring ibuprofen and take or prior to the first destination of this is your first or second day in Cusco. Elevation sickness is no joke, no matter how fit and young you are, you'll get winded easily and migraines.
