Sinds 1 juli 2026 rekent de Dom van Keulen toeristen een aparte toegangsprijs van €12, rechtstreeks gekocht bij de kathedraal. Je hebt het nodig voor deze tour. Toegang blijft gratis voor aanbidders. Dit is een onafhankelijke, zelfstandige audiotour, alleen beschikbaar in de Tourific-app.Na boeking zoekt u in uw e-mail op "Tourific" voor toegangsinstructies. Vragen? Neem contact op met ons supportteam. TOURBESCHRIJVING : Stap binnen in een van Europa's meest iconische kathedralen, 600 jaar in de maak, en ontgrendel de verhalen die in de stenen zijn gehouwen. Je reis begint met de geschiedenis van de kathedraal, en stopt dan bij het portaal, waar sculpturen de Bijbel en het middeleeuwse leven vertellen. Dan in legendes zoals het martelaarschap van St. Ursula, en de minder bekende Rechten van de Joden plaquette. Het hoogtepunt is het adembenemende Heiligdom van de Drie Koningen, waarvan wordt aangenomen dat het de relikwieën van de Wijzen bevat. Perfect voor reizigers die houden van geschiedenis en verhalen.

Deze tour begint bij de ingang van de Dom van Keulen, waar u de opmerkelijke geschiedenis en architectonische reis zult ontdekken. Audio tour of Cologne Cathedral was really good. Lots of really interesting information, easy to follow & had a map & photos so you knew where you were going.

negative: We could not look at the cathedral portal outside due to the crowd of people. We practically had to go into the cathedral immediately after showing the tickets. positive: Very precise description and background information on the individual works.

The app and photos should be downloaded in advance. It’s very hard to follow and I’d suggest printing the map to have as a visual once inside. Info is interesting but I’d pay a few euro more to do the official guides tour. The Cathedral is spectacular and I did learn a lot and loved going at my own pace, once we could figure out where each photo was located.

Lots of information about the inside of the church and things on display. Not much history of the building the church. We enjoyed the tour and each person could listen at their own pace.
