Christus de Verlosser Passage, die, om te onthouden, een art-decobeeld is dat Jezus Christus uitbeeldt, gelegen op de top van de Corcovado-heuvel, 709 meter boven de zeespiegel, in het Tijuca National Park. We hebben een prachtig uitzicht op het grootste deel van de stad Rio de Janeiro. In 2007 werd het verkozen tot een van de zeven wonderen van de moderne wereld en sinds 2012 wordt het beschouwd als onderdeel van het landschap van Rio, opgenomen in de lijst van Patrimonium van de Mensheid.
Een Escadaria Selarón is een prachtig architectonisch werk gelegen tussen de wijken Santa Teresa en Lapa, geen RJ. Het werd versierd door de Chileense kunstenaar Jorge Selarón, die het een "eerbetoon aan het Braziliaanse volk" noemde.
Ook bekend als de Metropolitan Kathedraal van Rio de Janeiro, is het een katholieke kathedraal gelegen in het centrum van de stad Rio en werd ingehuldigd in 1979, ter vervanging van Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
Liefdevol zoals Maraca, is het een voetbalstadion in de noordelijke zone van de Braziliaanse stad Rio de Janeiro, waar het de locatie was voor tal van opmerkelijke Braziliaanse voetbalevenementen. * Passeio pela buitenruimte.
De Sambadrome ligt aan de Avenida Marquês de Sapucaí, in het centrale deel van de stad Rio, en is het toneel van de grote parade van de Escolas de Samba do RJ. Our pick up was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. We were not picked up until 9:00. We were told someone with our name got on the coach so they left without us and sent the driver back to retrieve us. Not a common name, so unlikely. Driver and tour guide were rude throughout tour as if we did something wrong. Not at all the tour we signed up for. We did enjoy visiting Christ the Redeemer, but beyond that, quite a fiasco. Will not be using trip advisor for future tours.
It was an amazing time, Rafael was an amazing tour guide (and photographer). Thank you so much for making my experience at Rio the best. I picked this tour because I already visited the sugar loaf, but they have the complete tour available as well.
It was a good and complete tour. The tour guide was flexible and even waited for me to get on site. I learned some good information and had adequate time to view each historic landmark. The tour ends with a restaurant which was the cherry on top I wasn't expecting. I would definitely recommend to somebody and all for about 60 bucks which included the christo tickets and transportation is a really good package.
