Really enjoyed this experience! Our instructors were affable, knowledgeable about the history of chocolate/process of making chocolate and they gave us everything we needed to have a great experience. The truffles were delicious!

Personally I don’t think this workshop is worth it. The address listed is completely wrong. The actual place is 3-4 blocks away from the given address. The chef didn’t have our confirmation, so there wasn’t enough counter space for us. Not her fault, she tried her best to make it work. Both the address being wrong and the confirmation not being sent to the host seem like issues with Viator and not the actually chocolate shop, though I’m not positive. As far as the actually workshop goes it was okay. The truffles were delicious, but it was very disorganized and some of the equipment was broken. This meant all 9 of us had to share 1 burner, 1 food scale, and 1 scissor. I want to make it clear the chef was incredibly nice and tried her best to accommodate everyone. Learning about the history/cultural significance of cacao is not listed in the description, so I wasn’t expecting that. But please be aware there is ZERO history about chocolate presented. There is no difference between taking this workshop in Peru vs in the USA or Europe.

The experience was incredible! Not only did we make tasty truffles, we also had kind and friendly instructors. Alejandro and Julisa make us feel welcome and were incredibly friendly throughout the entire process.

Abe and Alejandro were awesome hosts! We learned a lot, and they were super friendly and fun to chat with through the 1.5 hour class. The Peruvian chocolate really is so much better than any chocolate I've tasted, the view was gorgeous, and we left with so many delicious truffles and fun memories! This was unexpectedly one of our favorite experiences in Cusco!

Such a fun and informative chocolate-making experience! Loved learning about the history of chocolate and getting walked through every step in such an easy, hands-on way. And the view in Cusco is absolutely amazing — definitely one of the best spots to enjoy the whole experience!

I went without many expectations, I encourage you to use cocoa chuncho that is very finony difficult to find, to make this Review short, chocolate was otherworldly, really delicious, the recipe of truffles blew my mind but I did not imagine that this workshop is done in a privileged place, you can literally see the whole historic center of the city, and you can also buy cocktails and craft beers discount while doing the workshop, I made friends and had a super, 11/10 exceeded my expectations Especially for the quality price, thank you guys.

We had an absolute blast at the truffle-making class! Erika, our instructor, was fantastic—funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does. She affectionately referred to her helpers as the Oompa Loompas, and together they made the experience lighthearted and lively from start to finish. We learned a lot, got hands-on with the process, and most importantly—had a great time doing it. The class was social, well-paced, and full of laughs. Highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for something unique and delicious to do!
