In het hart van het schiereiland Yucatán, tussen de jungle en de fluisterende wind, begint een avontuur naar Chichén Itzá - de oude Maya-stad die blijft verbazen met zijn architectuur, symboliek en astronomische precisie. Voor de majestueuze Piramide van Kukulkán verlicht de zon elke steen alsof ze oude geheimen onthult : de Maya's observeerden de sterren, maten de tijd en bouwden tempels die nog steeds een bewijs zijn van hun grootheid. De echo in de Ball Court en de grandeur van de Tempel van de Krijgers vertellen verhalen die tot leven komen bij elke stap. Na het verkennen van deze heilige plek gaat de reis verder naar een kristalheldere cenote — een natuurlijk heiligdom waar turquoise wateren u uitnodigen om een moment van rust in te duiken, alsof de tijd tussen wortels en stenen is gestopt. De reis eindigt in Valladolid, een Pueblo Mágico van koloniale charme en levendige kleuren, waar Maya en Spaans erfgoed samensmelten in smaken, aroma's en warme glimlachen. Tijdens deze rondleiding bezoek je een van de zeven wereldwonderen, waar je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis ervan, je zult de heilige cenote, de tempel van de krijgers, de tempel van Kukulcan kennen, na de rondleiding heb je gratis tijd om foto's te maken of rond te lopen in het archeologische gebied.
Na uw bezoek aan de archeologische zone van Chichen Itza, kunt u afkoelen in een van de mooiste cenotes in het schiereiland Yucatan, met kristalhelder water, en om energie op te doen kunt u genieten van ons heerlijke buffet met traditionele gerechten uit de regio.
Regionaal buffet in restaurant "Real Mayab", gelegen in de buurt van Chichen Itza, we gaan genieten van een typisch gerecht in de regio, je kunt alles eten wat je wilt: Pasta, cochinita pibil, groenten, kip, fruit. Is niet inbegrepen drankjes in het restaurant.
In Valladolid heb je vrije tijd om door de prachtige straten van deze magische stad te wandelen, je kunt de beroemde kerk van San Servacio bezoeken, gebouwd door de Spanjaarden; maak foto's in het hoofdpark en koop handwerk.

- De bus heeft 1 badkamer, je mag alleen nummer 1 gebruiken, je mag nummer 2 niet gebruiken omdat de badkamer ventilatie aansluitingen heeft op de hele bus en als je nummer 2 gebruikt zou de hele bus slecht ruiken, er worden stops gemaakt op de bezochte plaatsen waar je gebruik mag maken van de badkamer.
- Hotelwijzigingen zijn niet toegestaan na 18.00 uur, omdat we onze logistiek niet kunnen wijzigen. De tour en de plekken om te bezoeken kunnen variëren afhankelijk van de Gids logistiek, ook in de duur, tot 14 uur of meer volgens de transfers van de ene plaats naar de andere, en dit is afhankelijk van het verkeer, houd er rekening mee dat u de hele dag reist.
- Houd er rekening mee dat uw pakket toegang tot slechts één cenote bevat. De specifieke cenote die bezocht wordt is afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid en logistiek op de dag van de tour. Op basis van deze voorwaarden omvat de ervaring een bezoek aan Cenote Nool Há of Cenote Chichikán, maar niet beide. Wij waarderen uw begrip en blijven toegewijd om u de best mogelijke ervaring te bieden.
- We willen u eraan herinneren dat de tour die u hebt gekozen meer dan 12 uur duurt. Aangezien de bestemming, Chichen Itzá, in de staat Yucatán ligt, kan de roadtrip lang zijn. We raden aan om voorbereid te zijn op een lange reis, met comfortabele kleding, zonnebrandcrème en voldoende water.

Eric and Jesus were excellent. Very informative with lots of humour. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars and not 5, was that we were picked up in a smaller bus than advised and I sat at the back seat with practically no view of the outdoors while driving.
The tour was beautiful, the staff was superb; it was a long day to tackle, but it was worth it. We saw a lot, and unlike other excursions where the organizers are eager to finish, they always encouraged us to see, understand, and explore... Highly recommended.
We booked this through TripAdvisor after looking at a load of different websites - this one was the best priced and they all are the same tour (others paid much more through different websites). Our guide was Jesus and he was fantastic, funny and knowledgable. He shared a lot of history and information on the sites and general Mayan culture. Charlie the driver was fab too. He spoke in both Spanish and English (so it’s not exclusively an English speaking tour). Everything was included apart from an additional 40USD per person and then drinks at lunch and the cost of lockers at the Cenote. It was a shame they didn’t do Chichén Itzá first and the cenote after as that would have been more refreshing and could have avoided the afternoon heat while at Chichen Itza with no shade.
Parts were ok but they asked for 40$ extra, which was clearly a scam.

The Cenote could only be entered with a life jacket, which must be paid extra. Can definitely be saved if you have already visited other cenotes. The visit to the Mayan village including ritual was nice but pure sales ploy. Chichen Itza was definitely worth seeing and the guide's guidance was great. Valladolid is a sweet town but the 30 minute stay in the park was nothing whole or half now. All in all for the price but recommended. The guide was super nice and went to great lengths to explain everything.

Amazing and engaging tour! Easy to find the pick up location. Wish there was more time built in to spend on the Valladolid part of the tour since it is so beautiful and there are many street vendors to buy different foods from. Other than that, it was great seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world and a beautiful cenote tour!
The guides were friendly and the tour was well organized. The visit to Chichen Itza itself was great but it would have been enough. The rest around is just frills to make you pay an exorbitant price. The meeting with the shaman is not authentic; it is a good trick to encourage you to buy. The buffet wasn't bad but nothing authentic either. We try by all means to get you to buy additional things: bottle of tequila with your photo, birth certificate written in Mayan... Valladolid was nice but we only have 30 minutes to visit it (which is independent of the tour and due to the city for once). Finally the cenote was very touristy and you have to add 3 euros to rent a life jacket which is compulsory for swimming. In short, I advise you to go to Chichen Itza on your own and/or to book your guide in advance or on site. Valladolid is worth visiting without a tour so you can stay more than 30 minutes. If you are looking for authenticity this tour is not for you, if you are looking for a well put together tour it is in this case!
