Chianti Classico E-Bike Tour
Beschrijving
Eendaagse fietstocht om de Chianti-regio te ontdekken, een van de belangrijkste wijngebieden ter wereld, vanwege de kwaliteit van de wijnen en de schoonheid van de landschappen. Chianti biedt een uniek landschap: glooiende heuvels bedekt met wijngaarden en olijfboomgaarden, kleine stenen dorpjes en boerderijen. We beginnen met fietsen in het hart van Chianti Classico, op slechts 20 minuten van Siena, tijdens de fietstocht bereiken we het kasteel van Brolio, eigendom van de familie Ricasoli sinds 1141, en de kleine dorpjes van Villa a Sesta. We stoppen dan in een lokale wijnmakerij voor een Chianti-wijntour en proeverij. De tour omvat ook de lunch in een lokaal restaurant in Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Optioneel bezoek aan de tuin en de privékapel van het kasteel van Brolio, sinds 1141 behoort het kasteel toe aan de Ricasoli, een zeer historische familie van de Florentijnse aristocratie. Dit is ook een zeer groot landgoed dat Chianti Classico produceert en een van de oudste wijnhuizen in Italië. Dit bezoek wordt van buitenaf gemaakt.
Rijd door Villa a Sesta, een typisch en pittoresk Chianti-dorp.
Castelnuovo Berardenga, kleine stad vol charme, karakter en geschiedenis, gelegen in het zuidelijke deel van het Chianti Classico-gebied.

Amazing experience for our family (mom, dad, and teenage boys)! Anima Toscana worked with us to build an itinerary that was perfect for our family. The eMTBs are great - they let you get in a good workout while giving you assistance when you want it. Communication and coordination on where to meet was easy and clear. Our tour guide Domenico was warm and knowledgable. The ride took us through beautiful country side in Chianti. In addition to a ~30km ride, we did a wine tasting and lunch that exceeded our expectations. I'd 100% do a eMTB tour with this company again.
We did an eight day 450 K self guided tour and stayed an amazing places and got lucky with beautiful weather and not too many other people on the road

I have only the best things to say. When we discovered the meeting place was 1/2 hour away by car, Michele came to pick us up as we did not have a car. The bikes were in excellent condition and we were given excellent instructions on how to use an e-bike as we were first time users. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide (Michele) made the ride interesting and tailored the ride to our abilities. If you have a chance, don’t miss this opportunity.

Seeing Tuscany on an E Bike was the perfect way to see it. We were two people on a private tour. Our guide Ricardo was very helpful and enjoyable to talk to. Our stop at a winery was a delight and we got to be up close and personal with watching them unload grapes from the vineyard. I recommend this bike trip!

The guys at Anima Toscano picked a large group of us up at our villa in Tuscany and took us on a day long, custom E-bike tour of the Chianti Classico region. They were professional, helpful and friendly. It was a great tour and we highly recommend them.
On first week of September 3 of us did the Ebike 6 days tour from Siena- Montalcino- Montelpuciano…self guided I can just give great compliments to the planning of route, hotels, restaurant restaurants, description of points of interest. Absolutely an incredible e-bike ride through some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever witnessed. Ricardo, our guide, was awesome. Patience abound and gave us a lot of information. I would worry for someone who doesn’t have some experience in biking, however as some of the roads are narrow and have some traffic.
