Ontdek Toscane en Florence per muscular bike of E-bike, langs de prachtige heuvels rondom Florence en de Chianti Classico wijnstreek. Dankzij onze meer dan 30 jaar ervaring en passie voor het dagelijks hardlopen van fietstochten op het platteland van Toscane, hebben we een digitale kaart van een halve en een hele dag op maat gemaakt om u in uw eigen tempo te laten genieten van een speciaal avontuur. Vergeet niet om volledig opgeladen telefoons mee te nemen om ervoor te zorgen dat u de route kunt volgen! Binnen enkele minuten fietst u de stad uit over landweggetjes en bekijkt u het beste uitzicht over Florence vanaf de heuveltoppen! In de optie van een halve dag (alleen een gespierde fiets in de optie van een halve dag), verkent u de Florentijnse heuvels, en de volledige dag laat u de prachtige Chianti Classico-wijnstreek verkennen en stoppen bij een oude wijn- en olijfoliemaker. Als je geen Expert fietser bent, moet je de E-bike optie boeken, want er zijn veel heuvels op de route!

Rijd langs de prachtige en rustige Florentijnse heuvels om de stad uit te komen! Geniet ook van een van de beste geheime uitkijkpunten over de stad, bovenop de Bellosguardo-heuvel
Bereik een oud klooster buiten Florence; begin dan omhoog te rijden richting de wijnstreek Chianti Classico.
Genesteld in de prachtige natuur, is dit het landhuis waar de beroemde schrijver en politicus Machiavelli in de 16e eeuw werd verbannen. U kunt een wandeling maken in het perfect onderhouden traditionele huis en de ondergrondse kelders en de ongelooflijke tuinen in Italiaanse stijl bezoeken
Blijf rijden in de Chianti-streek en geniet van een fantastisch uitzicht over wijngaarden en olijfboomgaarden. Bezoek de traditionele lokale stad San Casciano
Op de terugweg kun je ook langs het beroemde Michelangelo-plein en San Miniato al Monte komen, voor het beroemdste uitzicht over de renaissancestad

- Opties voor openbaar vervoer zijn in de buurt aanwezig
- Niet aanbevolen voor reizigers met een slechte cardiovasculaire gezondheid
- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Iedere deelnemer dient een huurovereenkomst te ondertekenen en een waarborgsom per kaart te betalen voor de fietsen/e-bikes (200 euro voor de fietsen, 500 euro voor E-bikes). Het wordt automatisch vrijgegeven na de tour.
- Download de app en installeer het kaart- en routebestand
- Bekijk de Intro Video: u ontvangt een korte video introductie van de tour in uw bevestigingsmail. Bekijk het voor de dag van uw tour en bewaar het voor het geval u het later nog eens moet bekijken.
- Houd er rekening mee dat de inchecktijd voor de tour om 10:00 uur is. De laatst mogelijke check-in is om 10:45 uur, daarna is deelname aan de tour niet meer mogelijk.

Please read before booking: PLEASE GO WITH A GUIDE AND NEVER WHEN ROADS ARE WET/SLICK! .... although this is a beautiful scenic route in the countryside, it is on roads with tour busses, workmen vans, etc. This alone is daunting (especially with narrow roads not large enough for 2-way traffic, and winding roads with blind corners), but with the torrential rain lightening/thunder, the roads were especially dangerous. My partner went down on a downhill curve, ripped his clothes and suffered some nasty roadrash on his leg, etc. Luckily nothing broken. In addition, our GPS map routes would not work due to the rain dumping on the phone screen. We eventually had to pull off the road and ask the company to come and pick us up. They were very apologetic and were kind enough to offer a refund and ride back to our hotel. *on another note.... restaurant they recommend (Villa le Corti) was wonderful... but not typically open Mon/Tues (Luckily the chef was willing to accommodate us)

That day’s weather conditions were unfortunately exceptional, and as soon as we understood the situation we arranged pickup assistance and a refund. For future guests, we always recommend extra caution in wet conditions, especially on Tuscan countryside roads, even though the routes themselves are normally very quiet and scenic. Quick registration and great directions. We had a wonderful experience on the self guided tour. Beautiful scenery and stops for lunch and wine as gelato. We stopped at a small shot and had wine, beer, olives from their orchard and a lesson on olive oil.

Biked as a Family with teens… great way to see the outskirts of Florence and good way to burn some of the Italian food off! Map was easy to follow and great views on the way .
I highly recommend the self-guided e-bike tour. An accessible and exhilarating experience, both fascinating and picturesque. The route was coherently mapped out, with clear instructions. The bikes are top quality, easy to ride and robust. All practicalities were considered - water bottle, phone holder, rain ponchos - as well as excellent recommended stopping points. I advise taking the extended routes, the last part was a great way to reintegrate into the city. Overall a wonderful day out. We will be back.

This was an incredible experience! The self guided tour was great - we did get a little turned around at times and accidentally did the “long route”. (Approx 23 miles) 🤪😅. But the experience was amazing. NOTE - these are e-bikes - NOT motorcycles. You WILL have to peddle and exert quite a bit of energy. Great day, fabulous workout, amazing experience!

The self-guided bike tour was amazing! Riding through vineyards and olive groves. Breathtaking views of rolling tuscan hills, ancient walls, and beautiful villas. We went at our own pace, and did the extra part after lunch. Get an e-bike because there are lots of hills. Pay close attention to the map. It is well done and relatively easy to follow while riding. If you prefer a human guide, they are also excellent.

This activity allows you to move around the vineyards, olive fields and beautiful properties We drive on small roads but also on two-lane roads We chose to follow the longest route without difficulty The return to Florence is breathtaking: magnificent views

Great outfit with top notch bikes. Map was great— could have used a few more arrows and would be even better if it was interactive. They were very thorough and we had a fabulous day. Just note if you are going off season (March) the gelato place and oil tasting were not open. But still we loved it. The scenery was magnificent!
