We zijn er trots op een zeer ethisch olifantenreservaat te zijn. Onze olifanten zijn gered uit onethische parken en attracties waar ze zijn geketend, gekooid en bereden. Hier voorzien we onze olifanten van de liefde en zorg die ze nodig hebben, en onderhouden we vreedzame, respectvolle interacties tussen mens en dier. We laten onze olifanten vrij rondlopen in ons park en we staan pal tegen het gebruik van kooien, kettingen en olifantenrijden. Onze vestiging is eigendom van en wordt beheerd door de Karen Hill Tribe en onze Karen gidsen en Mahouts (olifantenverzorgers) geven inzicht in het park, de olifanten en de lokale geschiedenis.

Reisroute
U wordt tussen 7:30-8:00 uur opgehaald bij uw accommodatie door uw aangewezen gids. Je wordt ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten naar het Doi Inthanon Elephant Park gereden. Onderweg stop je bij een lokale versmarkt waar je lokaal fruit kunt kopen en ontbijten. In het Elephant Sanctuary word je begroet door leden van de Karen Hill stam en krijg je traditionele kleding om te dragen. Elke persoon krijgt een zak met groenten en fruit om de olifanten te voeren. Tijdens de ervaring kunt u onze majestueuze olifanten voeden en bewonderen voordat u deelneemt aan een junglewandeling en met hen in het water baadt.
Je avonturen gaan in de middag verder als je reist naar de prachtige Mae Saphok Waterval waar je zult genieten van een lunch van traditioneel Thais eten aan het water. Na de lunch begint u aan een avontuur op de rivier op de bamboevlotten om het Thaise platteland en de cultuur op te snuiven.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Geef de naam van het HOTEL , uw contact WhatsAss nummer en e-mail. Wacht in de lobby van uw hotel tussen 7.00 - 8.00 uur. Uw chauffeur / Gids zal u daar ontmoeten en vragen om uw boekingsbevestiging te zien. In de meeste gevallen wordt u opgehaald in een zilveren minivan maar we hebben ook een zwarte 4x4 in ons wagenpark.

We had a glorious day with the elephants, especially a mother with her four month old son… such a humbling and beautiful experience… finishing the afternoon with lunch by a waterfall and bamboo rafting was brilliant… highly recommended

The time we spent with the elephants was glorious… having a four month old baby boy elephant with his mother and another female was a beautiful and humbling experience. Lunch at the waterfall followed by bamboo rafting was a lovely way to spend an afternoon… highly recommended

We had a great time learning about the elephants and being with them in nature up close and personal, they had a baby elephant that was just adorable. After we enjoyed the waterfall and the rafting which I thought was the best part next to the baby elephant. What a full day full of different activities outside the city. I highly recommend. Out guides were great getting pictures for us as well.

Exceptional!! We had a crazy experience and encounter. Taxi is a great guide, we were just us for this activity. The raft ride and then the meeting with these 2 elephants and their 2 elephants. We see that they are well treated. A unique moment for me and my family. The lunch break and the preparation of Pad Thai is a plus that we highly appreciated.

It was a magical moment, with my friends we realized a dream. It was a moment suspended in time. We started with rafting and ended with beautiful waterfalls. But we really enjoyed seeing elephants so closely in a natural environment, being able to feed them, wash them and especially to see that they are well treated, it was a pure happiness. We had a great Cooper guide who took his time to explain things to us at each activity. A super friendly and smiling guide thank you to him. We highly recommend this activity.

We were picked up directly from our hotel, which was very convenient. Our guides were extremely friendly and pleasant. Everything was well organized and the day flew by. For lunch, there were several options to choose from. Definitely worth it if you are in Chiang Mai. Absolutely worth the money!
