Deze privérondrit door de stad door Chengdu neemt je mee naar alle hoogtepunten: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Wenshu Temple, People's Park en Old Town. Breng een aantal uren door met het kijken naar schattige panda's voordat je gids je per privévoertuig naar het beroemde zenboeddhistische klooster brengt voor de lunch. Ontmoet uw vriendelijke Engelssprekende gids in de lobby van uw hotel. Na 40 minuten rijden, begint je spannende dag in het Chengdu Panda Breeding Center. Wenshu-tempel, een bewaard gebleven boeddhistische tempel met veel kostbare kunstwerken die als culturele overblijfselen worden beschouwd. Het is een van de belangrijkste boeddhistische tempels in de stad Chengdu. Je zult hier genieten van een speciale vegetarische lunchbuffet met locals en monniken. Bezoek na de lunch deze prachtige en vredige boeddhistische tempel. Maak een wandeling door het tempelcomplex met indrukwekkende boeddhabeelden. Zie de monniken en lokale gebeden.
Ga vervolgens naar de Kuanzhai Alley, een van de drie historische beschermde districten van Chengdu. Gebouwd in 1718 tijdens de beginjaren van de Qing-dynastie, is deze aangename voetgangersstraat de thuisbasis van een fascinerende mix van klassieke Sichuan-architectuur en moderne cafés en boetieks. Terwijl je loopt, luister je naar commentaar van je gids over de geschiedenis en het ontwerp van de wijk, en zie je hoe sommige van de oude etablissementen van de stad - lokale restaurants, traditionele theehuizen, Chinese kalligrafiedemonstraties - naast de nieuwe staan. Geniet van de bezienswaardigheden van gebouwen in oudere stijl, tuinen en rijen souvenirwinkels en verkopers langs de straat.
Reis naar People's Park om de lokale bevolking bezig te zien met hun dagelijkse bezigheden, zoals zingen of dansen, voordat je getuige bent van de culturele eigenaardigheid van Match Corner, een enclave waarin ouders proberen hun kinderen te matchen met andere in aanmerking komende baby's. Geniet rustig van een kopje lokale thee aan de rivier voordat u naar uw hotel gaat en uw onvergetelijke dag afsluit.

Vertrekpunt: gratis ophaalservice van uw stadshotel of residentie in Chengdu (alle hotels binnen de 3e ringweg), als u buiten de 3e ringweg blijft, moet u worden opgehaald bij de hoofdingang van Wuhouci, of neem contact met ons op van tevoren regelen dat u wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel of luchthaven en extra kosten aan de chauffeur betalen. Retourpunt: Keert terug naar het oorspronkelijke vertrekpunt of kan worden afgezet in het stadscentrum.

This was a great day. Our gude was fantastic, he explained everything that we asked and was knowlegable on all the places we visited. The best part was the fact we were not rushed and could do the activities at our own pace. This is particularly important for older guests.. I would certainly recommend this tour

Highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Chengdu. Our tour guide Perry was fantastic. Perry has great English, answered all our questions and ensured all our needs were catered for. Perry has great knowledge of the Panda centre and we were able to see lots of Panda's and the cubs. Perry made sure we always had the best view too. We had a great day, thank you Perry.
We had a great time. Wells was really friendly and excellent at choosing the best route to avoid the crowds. Going as early as possible in the morning meant the pandas were active and we saw several of them eating and climbing. The monastery is also both interesting and very picturesque. Our driver also did a good job, particularly since we shuffled the itinerary around a little bit.
Silvia was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable, moved at a good pace and gave us great recommendations for our time in Chengdu.

The tour was a perfect solution for a long layover. The panda research centre is the highlight. Those glentle giants are amazing. Our guide Perry was excellent. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Told us lots about pandas, thought us the history of Chengdu and showed us the local culture and cuisine like we never imagined possible for that short time.

We had the tour guide Perri. He was very friendly and helpful. He had very good knowledge about the pandas and many other things. He was very patient with as we all like to go our own ways sometimes. He was able to answer all our questions. He took us for lunch and was considerate about spice levels and how to minimise the spice. The lunch was very very tasty.
