Ga op een uniek 4 uur durend culinair avontuur dat begint in het hart van de stad. Je reis begint met een begeleide verkenning van een authentieke lokale kruidenmarkt, waar je leuke, interactieve uitdagingen aangaat die zijn ontworpen om je kennis te laten maken met de aromatische Sichuan-specerijen en verse ingrediënten die de hoofdrol zullen spelen in je kookles. Vanaf de markt trek je je terug in onze gezellige Chilli Cool Workshop in het centrum van de stad. Hier wordt u verwelkomd als een oude vriend met een kopje traditionele Sichuan thee, een gekoesterde lokale gewoonte. Vervolgens brengt u onder de Expert begeleiding van een professionele chef-kok in onze intieme keuken uw marktvondsten tot leven en beheerst u de kunst van de Sichuan-keuken. De ervaring culmineert in een heerlijk feest terwijl u geniet van de gerechten die u hebt gemaakt, perfect gecombineerd met een selectie bieren en dranken. Meer dan alleen een klas, het is een informatieve, leuke en diep gedenkwaardige reis naar het hart van de Sichuanese cultuur.

Amazing experience. Lance was very kind and knowledgable. We had a lot of interesting conversations and with this learned a lot about culture, language and food. As I'm learning Mandarin we could do the tour in Mandarin, so my vocabulary is very grateful for this experience as well. I would definitely recommend doing this tour, as you will learn a lot about local food and customs.

This was a great experience. Lance was a great guide and walked us through a local market explaining a lot about Sichuan food culture and ingredients. He also explained the recipes for the dishes being prepared and interacted well with our 2 young kids. The Chef was friendly and the food was amazing. With Lance's help she explained the dishes well. The facilities were top notch and very clean. I would definitely recommend to anyone interestrd in Sichuan food and culture.

This was a brilliant introduction to the history, culture and food of Chengdu and Sichuan cooking. Lance was our guide - they were brilliant and tailor our experience to what we were interested in! Real personal touch! The chef at kitchen was brilliant! She explained and demonstrated the technique and visual cues you would be looking for when preparing these dishes at home. Well worth taking the time to experience this introduction to the Chengdu and the area.

It was so much more than a cooking class. Jerry was amaising guide. Market was so inspiring. I had some cooking experience before but I learned couple of new tricks. I found out how MSG is made. How to proportion spices and some really useful tricks. It was a cooking class but also a coultoural tour. And Jerry spoke exelent englesh so I used opertunety to ask him so many question regarding food and Chengdu.

A great experience and one of my favourite cooking classes that we’ve done. Jerry was a great host, super knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. They easily accommodated to my low spice level and the food was delicious, I’ll definitely be making these at home.

A wonderful way to find out more about the cuisine of Chengdu. Jerry was warm, friendly and informative. We loved the trip to the market, seeing all the fresh produce and then were able to cook our own dinners under the guidance of the Chilli Cool team . Highly recommend as one of our best experiences.

Had an absolute blast with the cooking class. Lance picked me up on time and we went to the market. Cooking class was well prepared. Made mapu tofu, stir fried cabage and braised pork. Afterwards had lunch with Lance and had a propper laugh!! 5/5 would recommend
