De chauffeur van Fes Desert Trip haalt u om 8 uur op bij uw hotel of Riad voor de fascinerende rit naar het noorden van Marokko, zodat u de unieke en mooie kleine stad Chefchaouen, de beroemde 'Blauwe Stad' van Marokko, kunt verkennen. Je rijdt door de groene bossen, brede, weelderige valleien, diep ingesneden kloven en torenhoge bergtoppen die de stad Chaouen omringen. Dwaal door de smalle straatjes, geschilderd in blauw en wit, van deze rustige plek gesticht in 1471 door Moulay Ali ben Moussa als een kasbah, of ommuurde vesting die je vandaag nog steeds kunt bezoeken. Het heeft een meer recent toegevoegde en zeer pittoreske tuin ook. Bewegen door de blauwe steegjes, met de felle zon die vanaf de muren weerkaatst, voelt enigszins als wandelen onder een ondiepe blauwe zee, een verbazingwekkende sensatie. De markten zijn vol met echte lokale ambachten van goede kwaliteit, met stijlen die nergens anders in Marokko te vinden zijn; brede felgekleurde 'sombrero'-achtige hoeden, gedecoreerd met decoratieve draad, met de hand geweven dekens in felle patronen en een reeks wollen kleding. Het dorpsplein, omgeven door restaurants en cafés, waar u de heerlijke geitenkaas kunt proeven, is een andere plek om te genieten, te zitten, te ontspannen en te ademen in de rijke atmosfeer. Er zijn veel andere monumenten om naar te kijken, waaronder de 15e-eeuwse Grande-moskee en het park Place Mohammed met een prachtig uitzicht op het Rifgebergte. Aan het einde van de dag wordt je teruggebracht naar Fes en afgezet bij je accommodatie.

Nabil has been preparing our road trips for two years and again this year we were very satisfied with the riads reserved in Fez and Chefchaouen, they were very clean, beautiful and we were welcomed by adorable people. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Our driver Kamal was very professional and attentive. I recommend Nabil for your next trip to Morocco.
They stopped at photo spots and told me about the city while I was traveling. Since it is a private tour, I was able to hear a little bit of flexibility, which was very helpful. And it was a safe ride! I was able to book from Japan and go to Morocco with peace of mind. I'm also very good at getting in touch.

Our driver was ready for us in the morning and was super helpful with stopping for anything we needed along the way, we stopped at a beautiful lake to take photos and again for some food. The blue city was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting surrounding areas. The driver waited until we were ready and even stopped at a supermarket for us before we got home. 10/10 experience

We used Fès Desert trips on our recent trip to Morocco. They picked us up from the airport, we did the one day walking trip in Fès, the day trip to Meknes and Volubilis and then the trip to Chefchaouen with a final transfer to Rabat. I cannot recommend them highly enough - we had the same driver (Ahmed) for 4 days who was charming, informative and always happy to stop when we wanted to take photos, have coffee or anything else. Our guide on the Fès day trip (Kaoutar) was fantastic; incredibly informative with a good sense of humour and again completely open to tailoring the day to us. The medina in Fès is a complete maze and it was essential to have a guide on our first day to help us get our bearings. I would really recommend this to all visitors. Finally Nabil who was our main contact and organiser - charming and incredibly helpful. One of our party was ill and we had to change our programme around - Nabil was incredibly flexible and accomodating and so we were all able to get the most out of our trip. Highly recommended tour company - they are happy to tailor trips to whatever you want and the people that we met were friendly, extremely courteous, informative and made our trip to Fès more enjoyable. The person who initially booked the tour was waiting in front of the hostel earlier than the appointment time. Everyone is friendly and humorous. Especially when you drive for eight hours. Joking and taking pictures. Very pleased! Those who have no money or time, who want to see Sheffield, I recommend.
