Van spookachtige fluisteringen over de burgeroorlog tot de duistere omgang met het piratenverleden van de stad, deze tour serveert sterke geesten - zowel in je glas als van voorbij het graf. The Griffon Pub is gevestigd in een eeuwenoud bakstenen gebouw met krakende vloeren en flikkerende lantaarns en vormt de perfecte sfeer voor een nacht vol spookachtige ontdekkingstochten. Bekend om zijn vintage charme en spookachtige legendes, wordt gezegd dat sommige klanten nooit echt vertrekken. Pak een drankje, verzamel je moed en bereid je voor om in de schaduw te stappen – onze spookachtige kroegentocht begint hier.
Bij deze halte bespreek je de spookachtige geschiedenis van een van de meest spookachtige gebouwen van Charleston, The Old Exchange en Provost Dungeon.

Great haunted history tour punctuated with a cocktail or two. We enjoyed it greatly. Walked a bit, brand a bit, learned a bit about the history of Charleston
Alexis was an amazing tour guide ! She was so fun to be with and we really enjoyed the tour & stories ! We will definitely be back !
My first haunted pub crawl. We had a good time and had plenty of stops and time to have a drink while there. We walked through the old town area and had stops along the way besides the pubs that explained what happened in certain sights and who was still haunting there. Very entertaining. I just feel sorry for our wonderful guide who ended up more like a cat herder rather than a guide as the night wore on and more pubs were visited and drinks consumed. He was a good sport.

We attended the pub crawl on Halloween and were disappointed with the experience. The guide informed us at the start that we wouldn’t be visiting any of the bars advertised because they were too busy on Halloween. Instead, we went to one bar, one restaurant/bar, and a booze pop van. If we had known in advance that the advertised stops wouldn’t be included, we would have made other plans.

Definitely would not recommend. I’ve done other ghost tours where I’ve gotten goosebumps. This one was underwhelming at best. A couple of the pubs were cool, but it was pretty boring otherwise.

This tour was not what was advertised. It’s called a “haunted pub crawl,” but we walked past several pubs where the guide said, “this place is amazing, but we’re not going to stop.” We only stopped at one bar midway through and one at the very end. If you’re mainly interested in ghost stories, this might be the right tour for you. However, I was disappointed overall. Our guide didn’t seem very confident in the stories, often filling pauses with “um” and “and…,” which made the tour feel less engaging than it could have been
