The trip was amazing I got to see the turtles and the cenote it was so beautiful I would definitely recommend however I am very disappointed with the photos I purchased at the end of the experience. I downloaded them to realise that 90% of the videos and photos I received were taken from other online sources. For $30 (discounted price) I feel kind of ripped off since I was expecting to receive only photos and videos taken of my experience. It’s just a shame having to pay for photos I can get for free elsewhere. The pictures and videos I received weren’t even take recently some of which being taken as early as 2022.
The tour and the guide were good, but it doesn't match the description, which mentions 4 cenotes. But you only see one.
Hi there is a mistake at the tour description traslation in French, you booked the Cenote and Sea Turtles tour. We provide the tour description at the official English tour lenguage drscription. We are going to fix it with trip advisor Best regards
Not surprising that the water was cold. But this was the best exploration of different Cenotes. Our guide was great and we had extra time to relax, have something to eat and sit down and just relax

This trip was fantastic!!! ( especially the caves) BUT ITS AN EXTREMELY PHYSICAL TOUR. IF YOU HAVE HEART TROUBLE OR ARE CLAUSTROPHOBIC .....DO NOT DO THIS TOUR!... Our guide " PAULINA" WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Only for her ,we could not of done this. The caves have smaller& smaller chambers as the tour proceeds. I'm claustrophobia....so I nearly lost my mind only for the PAULINA'S guided & caring support, handheld grip & encouraging effort to overcome your fears. PAULINA was off the charts . Her work is her passion!& her safety ethic is exceptional 👏 👌. PAULINA really cared we did what we paid for but what wasn't mentioned to us was the 1 MILE SWIM to veiw the turtles& get back to shore.... We never knew this & paulina emphasised the physical nature of the tour. A lot of swimming involved & need to be physically fit...which we are not. Only for PAULINA we would of wasted our money as the information wasn't provided to ANYBODY from other hotels too. Thankyou soooo much PAULINA...your work safety ethic is mind blowing & very appreciated 👏 too Grainne Allen

This was one of our favorite things we did in Mexico! Nancy was an amazing tour guide. A couple of notes so people are prepared: you should only sign up for this tour if you are a strong swimmer (in a life jacket). At Akumal we swam over a pretty large area and several people were struggling to keep up. It’s also extra hard if you’re not used to snorkeling or being tossed around in the waves. Nancy warned us the water in the cave would be cold but it’s really just swimming pool cold. It was fine. It was raining really hard when we went in so this does seem to be a good rainy day activity. If you are afraid of bats or are sketched out swimming in caves (fair), you can wait outside. Plenty of people did that and there are other things to do when others are in the cave. They will try to sell you photos (around $30 which is fairly reasonable compared to other tours that did this). It did detract a little from the experience when they made us get out of the water and pose on the rocks inside the cave even though we didn’t plan to purchase photos

The tour guides were punctual. They were great and answered all questions. However tour is listed as 90 minutes at turtles and 90 minutes at Cenotes. We got 40 and 50 minutes. Photos are also no allowed in Cenotes. If I had known that, I would not have booked this tour. The Cenotes NoHoch was amazing and I would love to go back and take photos.
HI Brian Time at Akumal is 90 minutes logistic included (arrive to the place, changes clothes, take the gear, swimming with the turtles, return the gear, change clothes and leave Akumal) Time at the cenote is 90 min logistic included arrive to the place, changes clothes, take the gear, swimming with the turtles, return the gear, change clothes and leave the cenote) Kind regards
We had a great time on this tour last week. Very organized and well done. Lucas our guide and Norberto our driver were great. Lucas is very knowledgeable about the Mayan Culture and history of the Cenotes. We so much fun swimming in the cenote and then went to Akumel to swim in the bay. We saw 7 turtles and 2 stingrays. The focus on safety and preserving the green turtles habitat is very important and they do an excellent job in doing that while still finding the turtles. The last stop was an amazing lunch on the beach. The food and drinks were great. I just did this excursion but had such a great time, I would do it again. If you get Lucas as your guide, you won’t be disappointed. Well done Lucas and Norberto.

The tour guide, Nancy was amazing, and made the whole trip excellent. The turtles were a bit disappointing because there were so many different tours in the water at the same time. It wasn’t actually swimming with turtles it was just standing still and waiting for the turtles to come up to you. It was cool, but not as fun as actually swimming in freewater with turtles. The cenote was in a beautiful location and was a long, dark cavern (unlike some that are both open and closed). The trip starts at 7 AM and we got home at around 3 PM, so it was a long day and we were very hungry. The only snacks given were a bag of chips. Overall, we were glad we went, but it wasn’t the most amazing thing we did while in Playa Del Carmen.

Tour was very informative and interesting. The tour guide Cristobal is very knowlegeable of the area and the attractions. Cracked a few jokes here and there and made the entire tour exciting. Highly recommended.

A great half day experience, we saw many turtles in Akumal, and the guided swimming in the underground caverns of the cenote was truly a once in a lifetime experience, absolutely incredible. The guide Mario was great - informative and explained a lot, and fun. Water and snacks were provided. Taking one star away though as it’s not allowed to take photos at the cenote just so they can sell you a package of photos they take of you - very staged, low quality photos, for a whopping 33 USD, which felt like a ripoff. As a result we don’t have any photos from this otherwise spectacular visit, which is a bit of a shame.
