Geniet van een 3 uur durende tour op uw prachtige Catamaran Makaira. Ontmoet ons in Porto de Palmeira, waar uw team u zal begroeten. Wij bieden hotel transfers naar het vertrekpunt. Na een snelle check-in brengen we u met een bijboot naar de Catamaran Makaira. Aan boord vindt u de perfecte plek om comfortabel te ontspannen. Uw team begint met een veiligheidsbriefing in Porto de Palmeira. Vaar langs de westkust richting Monte Leão. Kijk uit voor zeeschildpadden en, met wat geluk, dolfijnen. We stoppen voor een duik in kristalhelder water en snorkelen om het zeeleven te verkennen. Onderweg kunnen ook dolfijnen worden gespot. Geniet van goede muziek, snacks en drankjes tijdens de reis. We keren terug naar Porto de Palmeira aan het einde van de tour.

Deze 3 uur durende cruise aan boord van de Catamaran Makaira vertrekt op verschillende tijden, afhankelijk van het seizoen. Van juni tot september kunt u met ons mee op een Sunset Cruise om te genieten van de kleurrijke lucht boven de kust van Sal Island. Ontmoet ons in de haven van Palmeira, waar uw team u zal verwelkomen. Transfers van uw hotel naar de haven zijn inbegrepen. Na een snelle check-in word je met een boot naar de Catamaran gebracht. Eenmaal aan boord vindt u een comfortabele plek om te ontspannen. Er wordt een veiligheidsbriefing gegeven voordat we uitvaren. Als we richting Monte Leão gaan langs de westkust, kunt u zeeschildpadden en, met wat geluk, dolfijnen spotten. Bij Monte Leão pauzeren we 1 uur om te snorkelen in kristalhelder water. Geniet van boordmuziek. De cruise eindigt met een terugkeer naar de haven van Palmeira.
Ontdek de schoonheid van de kustlijn van Sal over zee Uw catamaran avontuur begint met een comfortabele hotel pick-up met de bus, die u rechtstreeks naar Palmeira brengt – een charmant vissersdorp aan de noordwestkust van Sal. Palmeira – authentiek Kaapverdisch vissersdorp Palmeira staat bekend om zijn kleurrijke huizen, relaxte sfeer en levendige haven. Hier ervaart u het echte lokale leven : Kijk hoe de vissers hun dagelijkse vangst binnenhalen, sorteer en verwerk de vis ter plekke. Misschien zie je zelfs een aantal levendige tropische vissen langs de kade – een kleine preview van de onderwaterwereld die komen gaat. Vanuit de haven brengt een dinghy (kleine boot) u veilig naar uw catamaran Makaira, waar uw oceaanreis begint.

Tijdens uw tour aan boord van de Makaira kunt u misschien het geluk hebben om te spotten : Dolfijnen – speels en vaak zwemmend bij de catamaran Zeeschildpadden – vooral zichtbaar tijdens het broedseizoen in kalme baaien Bultruggen – op doorreis tijdens de trek (seizoensgebonden) Potvissen – de diepduikende reuzen van de zee Orka’s – zeldzaam maar af en toe gezien in Kaapverdische wateren Zeevogels & kustvogels – zoals fregatvogels, pijlstormvogels, sterns, zilverreigers en reigers, vooral in de buurt van Murdeira en beschermde gebieden Of u nu een natuurliefhebber, een fotograaf of gewoon nieuwsgierig bent, Sal biedt onvergetelijke ontmoetingen met wilde dieren - zowel boven als onder de waterlijn. Tip : Neem je camera of verrekijker mee – in de lucht of op de golven valt altijd wel iets te ontdekken!

Good trip. I have done this kind of trip lots of time and unfortunately the staff were not attentive. Normally they come around talking to the customer asking where you are from etc.
The catamaran tour was very cool and the staff on board very friendly, but I would try to find a better place for the snorkeling stop.
Nearly an hour late to the pick up, but apologetic. The catamaran was ok but limited space to relax or get shade. The drinks were very lack lustre and only 1 person there making them. The snacks were awful deep fried breaded chicken and similar. There was very annoying loud music playing the whole trip that we couldn't escape and there was no 'guide' telling us anything about the scenery and landmarks. Not worth the money. The staff were all friendly and sweet, but that doesn't make up for the cost for a very average trip.
Staff was quiet and aloof, no conversation or atmosphere provided. Concretely, the staff was there to work and nothing else, which is a shame compared to the promises of the activity. Furthermore, 3/4 of the snorkeling equipment was broken and unusable, not to mention the fact that the spot chosen for swimming was uninteresting. Drinks and snacks were offered as advertised. Overall, avoid this activity and find another one if you have the possibility.
The boat time is fine, with music, drinks, some food, ... The route and the place they take you to swim are not a big deal either, nothing spectacular or especially pretty. They give you goggles for snorkeling but it is an area where there is nothing to observe. We did see some dolphins on the way.
Trip was booked for a 10am collection but they arrived at 8.45am. Kindly they let me grab breakfast and came back after 10 mins. Collection from the other hotels took a while with more confusion with 1 couple. Arrived at the fishing port for the small boat transfer to the catamaran. Again, felt a little chaotic as we were in the middle of the fishermen gutting fish. Once on the boat which was full but not over packed, the journey out took around 50 mins, we had another 50 mins docked at the big rock to swim or snorkle. No kayaks or sups to use which would have been nice. Snacks were basic but ok, great coconut donut and drinks were included but I was only offered 1 drink. Journey back to port was rough but fun, once arrived and back on dry land there was a 30 min wait for the bus to collect us and we were left sat in the midday sun. Staff did check in on people and overall it was ok, just lots of things that could have been better.
