An unbelievably fantastic day trip. Our guide Heba, knowledgeable & friendly, Arrived on time for pick up, went to the most beautiful mosques, churches & synagogues, passed though Garbage City, where the local population (known as Jabeleens) men, women, children lived and worked amongst the recycling, an eye-opener into where the rubbish of Cairo goes and what happens to it. An emotional but interesting experience. We were lucky to share the "call to prayer" and witness the "washing abultions" and segration of men/women going to pray. An emotional, touching feeling. A fantastic wonderful full day, highly recommend
This tour had all the places to see in Cairo. Sarah was an excellent tour guide, she explained very well the history of old cairo. I highly recommend this tour
Tour operator was totally in experienced and unorganised. The tour was supposed to start at 8 AM, but he had informed that he will be arriving at 9 AM. at 9 AM, the driver came and picked me up and we had to wait in the car again for half an hour for the tour guide to arrive. The tour was supposed to be for nine hours, but it got concluded within three hours. the lunch was included in the trip, and I informed him about the lunch, many times, but he was reluctant to provide me with the lunch. He only assisted me with the Ciradel and b all the other places he just dropped me in front of the gate, and I had to explore by myself. so I had to request with other fellow people to click pictures of me, even though I paid for the entire trip, not proper assistance was given at all, even the AC of the car was not at all on during the entire trip, the cave, Church was included in the trip, and he wanted to conclude without showing me the cave Church, and I had to ask him many times to take me there. It is not worth to pay for nine hours. It is just at three hour trip, including too and fro. He didn’t take me to any of the Islamic Cairo places which was a part of the trip. I totally lost the money. I paid for so never ever book through this guy
Full day visiting both Islamic and Coptic sites. Covered amazing amount of ground with our very competent guide (Saul?). Only issue was his think accent which made it difficult to understand his commentary
Had the most amazing day being guided by Rasha. She gave great history of the area as we drove to our first spot. She made it clear that we can take our time and that she can take photos of us as desired. We loved the Citadel and Muhammad Ali Mosque. Loved the details about Islam Rasha provided. We got to go out to Cave Church which was amazing! Our driver did a good job there and truly the whole day. We also were able to see the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Saint Sergius & Bacchus Church. Rasha provided us with great information at every location. She offered us the opportunities to shop and have lunch. We could have gone to the Bazaar but instead went to the School of Carpets. Rasha checked in with us to make sure we were having a good time and that each stop was to our satisfaction. She even offered to book evening activities for us. We had a nice time with Rasha as our guide for the day.

Tour operators charged us and forgot about the tour at 10am. At 9am I reminded them and they managed to get an inexperienced person (who always irritable and angry) at the last moment who lived 2 hrs away. The company gave us a story about how it will be better to start at 11am to avoid traffic. They advertise the tour duration as 8hrs, so with a late start or should have gone on till 7pm. However the guide stated getting agitated at 4pm and said that she had to end the tour soon because it will take 2hrs to get back to her home. This guide had no experience or knowledge. Her English was impossible to understand, and she constantly checked Google for any piece of information. When she took us to a location, she spoke for 1 min max and left us alone to talk on the phone with someone (this happened throughout the tour). During that 1 minute talk, we didn’t understand anything she said and used Google for guidance - remember that we had booked a tour guide and drive with van! When the other groups were getting real descriptions and history, we were left alone to figure out everything on our own. It looked like the guide was fighting with someone over the phone - some personal stuff. Then the guide would come back after she was done speaking and start shouting to us about how enough was enough and we need to move to the next stop. Doesn’t matter how they respond to this review, DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE GUYS.
The itinerary was great which includes important tourist attractions in Cairo like the Citadel, the Hanging Church and the Cave Church but the tour guide - Mr. Hani fell short of his duty. Throughout the tour, Mr. Hani didn't seem to be interested in introducing his country to us and he was unfamiliar with the itinerary of that day. Most of the time, he only explained when we asked questions otherwise he would just walk far ahead of us. We passed by Al-Azhar Mosque which was in the itinerary but he didn't even point it out to us until we asked about the Mosque much later. That also happened when we were at the Khan el-Khalili Market. He led us walking aimlessly until we told him what we wish to see in the market. Then we were brought to a papyrus shop. After the visit to the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, he seemed to want to end the tour but we still have not visited the Cave Church. We asked him to bring us to the Cave Church and he tried to confuse us by saying that Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus was the Cave Church on the itinerary. We showed him the itinerary of the tour that we bought which clearly shows that we would visit Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus and then the Cave Church. Obviously those are two different places. How can a tour guide who works in Cairo but cannot tell apart Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus and the Cave Church? Anyway, out of no choice, he brought us to the Cave Church reluctantly. Throughout the tour, the vehicle provided was also not in a good condition. The saloon car was old and the air conditioner wasn't working properly. It was stuffy and uncomfortable while traveling in the car provided. We are very unhappy and disappointed with the "half-baked" tour guiding attitude of Mr. Hani. The tour company should have a better quality control on their tour guides.
Enjoyable yet educational. Aref impressed me with his knowledge and understanding of the history and knowledge. With this trip, I feel I really came to Cairo.
What a great tour!! Our guide Walid was so knowledgeable of all the many sites we went to!! He and our driver was such a huge help to us navigating the city and making sure we didn't miss a thing. Highly recommend!!
