Dagtocht naar El Fayoum Bezoek begint met ophalen bij uw hotel om 07:00 uur, rijd rond 1 uur van Caïro naar El Fayoum. Zodra u aankomt, stapt u over op een 4x4-voertuig en begint u aan de tour naar Wadi Rayan. Gelegen op een heuvel met uitzicht op een groot zoutwatermeer, kijkt het dorp uit over een prachtig uitzicht op de rand van de woestijn aan de andere kant van het meer. Het is een van de mooiste plekken in Egypte. Bezoek dan het Qarun-meer, het Qarun-meer wordt beschouwd als de oudste natuurlijke meren ter wereld, het op twee na grootste meer in Egypte en de rest van het meer Old Maurice. Ga dan naar Wadi El Rayan en Wadi El Rayan-watervallen. De watervallen in Wadi el-Rayan zijn een natuurlijk fenomeen, en worden beschouwd als de grootste watervallen in Egypte. Na de watervallen rijd je naar de westelijke woestijn van Eavpt, geniet van sandboarden, geniet van de zandduinen en het magische meer op een van de beste bestemmingen

Begin met het ophalen van uw hotel of in Caïro of Gizeh. Stap aan boord van een comfortabele auto met airconditioning en geniet van een comfortabele rit van 100 minuten naar de Wadi El Rayan-woestijn. Bij aankomst kunt u genieten van een fantastisch uitzicht op de Wadi El Rayan-watervallen in het hart van de woestijn. Bewonder de krachtige watervallen die een schril contrast vormen met het omringende dorre landschap. Als je geluk hebt, kat dan de wilde dieren van de woestijn. Maak vervolgens een stop voor foto's van het prachtige Mudawara-gebergte. Maak je dan klaar om te genieten van het woestijnavontuur. Stap aan boord van de 4X4-auto voor wat dune-bashing en ervaar de opwinding terwijl de auto door geel, zacht zand glijdt. Nadat je over de duinen bent gereden, stop je om te genieten van sandboarden. Maak je vast aan het zandplankje en glijd in snel tempo over het glinsterende, gele zand. Stop vervolgens bij een bedoeïenenwoestijnkamp en geniet van een uitgebreide en heerlijke barbecuelunch. Zodra u klaar bent met uw lunch, wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel of geselecteerde locatie in Caïro of Gizeh.

I went on a solo adventure, so I entrusted my life to Ahmed. And thank God I did. He drove me around the dessert, detailling everything to the dot, he allowed me to do my thing without ever rushing me. I swam in both, the waterfalls and the Magic Lake, it was such an experience! Though I did it, sandboard its not my thing, and they sent me about it with this 10 year old kid who didnt speak english, dont expect any assistance whatsoever. Luch was okay. I think its a must do for sure! Who gets the chance to say that theyve swum in an African dessert!
Joining up with Ahmed our guide and driver through The White Desert of Faiyum Oasis made the experience worth the drive to get there. Once we reached the meeting location, we switched from a small car to a 4x4 and went off road. There were several stops to take in the scenery & all were beautiful. The first stop at Lake Qaraoun both peaceful & beautiful. Then hitting the dunes to our next stop, at Wadi El Rayan waterfall(s), there are actually 5 falls in close proximity which made for a few great photos. Back to some more riding around the dunes. Our boys were sure we would not make it up the big hills, of course we did. We climbed to the highest peaks & took in the view of the valley & Magic Lake below. Next we descended to Magic Lake for a bit of wading in the water. The last stop was at a Bedouin village where our boys went Sandboarding & we had the most delicious traditional Bedouin lunch. It was time to return to the meeting location & return to Giza. Ahmed was a very courteous and kind man, we throughly enjoyed our time with him. Our drive to The White Desert was very uncomfortable; we were in a small car with 3 adults and our teenage sons who are over 6 ft tall. It is a two hour drive from Cairo to the meet up location. So make sure that the transportation fits your group size. The car we were in would fit 4 but with 5 (including the driver) it was an unpleasant trip.
Wow, what a blast! This 4x4 Fayoum safari with sand surfing and waterfalls was pure magic. Dunes, waterfalls in the desert, sliding down like kids so much fun! This Fayum Oasis 4×4 desert safari was an incredible experience from start to finish. The pickup was on time, the drive was comfortable, and the desert adventure was so much fun. Dune bashing and sandboarding were real highlights, and the views across the desert were stunning. Visiting the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls was a beautiful bonus and a great photo stop. Our guide was friendly and professional, and the lunch was tasty. Perfect mix of adventure and nature!! highly recommended!

We booked this at 10pm the night before the trip having been let down by a scammer on another listing. I was contacted by WhatsApp within ten mins of booking, was sent pictures of the car that would be picking us up and by 8am we were on our way to the Desert for what was a great experience. Very professional company with great communication.
