We have a lot of fun with Manisa who guided us during this half day. She knows the history of her country and region very well and has told it with passion. Everything was fine I recommend
Wonderful guide and driver. A really nice way to visit some places outside Bukhara, which would be hard to visit independently. Warning - there seems to be multiple versions of this day trip itinerary with the same company, so double check with the guide which sites you intend to see. I went for Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, Bakhautdin Naqsband, and Chor-Bakr. I loved all three. However, the guide was under the impression we were not going to Bakhautdin Naqsband, and instead were going to a house museum in Bukhara itself and a mausoleum in the city. She was more than happy to revert to my original itinerary, the one I had booked, so she was amazing. I am sure the other itinerary would also have been great BUT both of the other sites could be easily accessed independently on foot or with Yandex Go... whereas Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, Bakhautdin Naqsband, and Chor-Bakr would be much harder to visit independently, so I am super happy with my choice.
Bekhruz is the kind of tour guide who knows the lay of the land like only a local can. I admire the sheer amount of knowledge he was able to draw upon when introducing his hometown to a visitor like myself who lacked an understanding this town’s long and fascinating history. If you’ve got an extra day available in Bukhara, I’d recommend booking this trip as an opportunity to explore what lies beyond city limits. I promise you won’t regret it.
My countryside tour with Shakhnoza was extremely interesting and enjoyable. I am so grateful that tours on holidays were conducted. I was worried coming into this trip that several might be canceled, but they were not. I’m so grateful for seeing each of these locations, they are unforgettable and wonderful memories.
Dear guest, thank you for your review
the tour was great! our tour guide (shakhnoza) was very informative and gave clear explanation on each site. she also very patient with all of our questions and comments. she also gave good recommendation on where to eat 👌🏻
Dear guest, thank you for your review!
Bukhara is such a great city that it is easy to just stay near the old town and not venture out at all. If you are going to be in town for a while, like I was, it is a nice break to go outside the city and some of the places locals like to visit. Mrs. Shakhnoza was a delightful guide. Her English was very good and I enjoyed hearing about her family, her take on life in Uzbekistan and she was very pleasant company to pass the day with. As was mentioned in another review, Uzbeck hospitality is well-known and everyone is brimming with recommendations for restaurants, hammans and tips on shopping. I've was in Uzbekistan for almost a month and did two tours with Mirfayz, as well as arranging my train station transfers. His company is very well organized, everyone arrived early, and the guides and drivers were very professional. I can compare this to other tours, and drivers and transfers, where I was overcharged, the tour guide did not speak any English, and somebody's 20 year olde brother-in-law arrived to pick me up at the border. Mirfayz exceeded my expectations and not only that, but did things like send me a list of restaurants I might like when I arrived in Bukhara (I tried 3 of them, all very good). If I had it to do again, I would have used him to arrange all of my transfers, train tickets, etc. rather than just in Bukhara. The driver was also excellent, driving can be, shall we say a competitive sport in Uzbekistan, and our driver was quick but drove very well and again was very friendly and professional. Good job all the way around! If you come to this lovely country, Mirfayz should be your first call. Thanks to everyone!
Dear guest, thanks for your review. Look forward to see you in ancient Bukhara again. Best regards, Mirfayz
Again everything was organized perfect and a feeling, that the local people are always very warm welcome you as their guest. In general i have to tell that uzbek people are one of the most friendly people i have ever met on my holiday so far. The country and all sights and people made my trip just wonderful and the organisation of the trip was really professional. Thanks to everyone
Dear guest, thanks for your feedback! Best regards, Mirfayz
