Tot slot vertelt uw Verteller u Hongaarse volksverhalen en vampierverhalen en kronieken van de 19° eeuw. Weg van de drukte van Pest, neemt deze informatieve en onderhoudende tour, geleid door een professionele acteur in historische klederdracht, u mee naar enkele van de charmante, magische plekken van de stad: de Buda kasteelhoven. Deze activiteit is een meeslepende verhalende ervaring over legendes, mythologie, donkere middeleeuwse geschiedenis, verhalen en folklore. De tour is meer ideaal voor volwassenen en jongeren. Indien u uw kinderen wenst mee te nemen, mogen ze gratis mee (tot 6 jaar).

De eerste verhaaltijd is halverwege de top. We stoppen terwijl we het uitzicht bewonderen en vertellen over de middeleeuwse Hongaarse geschiedenis. Merk op dat als je de groep aan de top ontmoet, je dit deel zult missen.
Bezoek aan een van de mooiste uitkijkposten op de Donau terwijl u stopt en luistert naar de geschiedenis van het oude Hongarije.
Stoppen bij een van de rechtbanken van de Buda Castle, het bewonderen van de fontein van koning Matthias en de omliggende paleizen verlicht in het donker, terwijl u luistert naar verhalen van vampiers en donkere folklore.
Wandelen rond de middeleeuwse muren en ruïnes van het oude kasteel
Rondwandelen, betoverd raken door het panorama terwijl je luistert naar verhalen over middeleeuws Hongarije.
Genieten van het prachtige nachtelijke panorama vanaf de top van de heuvel.
We stoppen bij het majestueuze terras met het ruiterstandbeeld van prins Eugene van Savoye, een van de meest succesvolle militaire commandanten in de moderne Europese geschiedenis. U luistert naar meer geschiedenissen terwijl u de mogelijkheid neemt om foto's te maken vanaf de top van de heuvel.

This tour was excellent from start to finish. Easy to find meeting point. Good walking pace and thoroughly entertaining. Tour guide was amazing brought life to the stories he was telling. Definitely do this tour when you go to Budapest. The 2 hours went so quickly even though we had been on our feet all day!
Very funny and informative. Don’t take this tour too seriously and you will have an incredible time Fabulous Fabian 5 star.

The tour was full of oral stories told at various outdoor locations around the Buda Castle. Make sure you enjoy listening to stories about Vampires and folklore. If you do then you will enjoy the tour! Our guide Peter was great, as he got really into it. Three stars as it turns out this wasn't our thing.

The walk has some nice views and the stories are very cool. The guide is very entertaining. However, most of the stories take place somewhere in/near Hungary, mostly Wallachia. Not necessarily from Budapest. So the surrounding does not have much to do with most stories. Does not make it less fun or anything, just a note so that you are not surprised.
Don't go .I have been on ghosts vampire and Dracula tours and this one has to be worst. First of all you couldn't hear what he was saying even when you were up close to him as he was trying to put on a vampire accent which didn't work. He mumbled and would forget what he was saying halfway through a sentence. He was also late and the tour didn't start until 8:30 p.m.

Our daughters were completely absorbed. Peter kept all of us engaged with vivid descriptions, clever anecdotes, and a pace that never dragged. His passion for Budapest’s past was obvious, and his ability to connect those stories to the present made the experience feel meaningful rather than just informative. By the end, we felt like we had walked through centuries of history, guided by someone who genuinely loves sharing it. If you’re visiting Budapest and want a tour that’s fun, fascinating, and unforgettable, we can’t recommend dark‑history tour at Buda Castle highly enough.
